Owwwww - bet that hurt!!!!! 10.45am Sunday morning so I am finishing my coffee and getting ready to pop out to the nearest M&S (Marks & Spencer) food department to get some goodies for later! Looks as though it's going to pour down though so am pleased it won't be too far to walk to get from the car into the store. After that I'm hoping for a quiet Sunday afternoon! I'm so jealous! I love M&S... been far to long since I was there!

Sorry about your toe - ouch!
It's 9:30 in Ga and I have only been up about an hour. This is WAY late for me and I woke up with a headache because of it. I am laying in bed drinking coffee and watching our kitten attack non existent things, then her tail, then my fingers on the keyboard and then something I can't see again LOL. She cracks me up constantly. Of course, while I am watching the Walking Dead marathon. I did an hour of SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) Yoga and then paddleboarded for an hour yetsterday and I feel like I've been in a car accident...don't even want to move. Ugh.

What does gars post mean up above. With the yellow caution tape that says "this post is under quarantine"? Is that some type of problems moderation? Haven't seen the quarantine banner on a post....up to now anyway!

Sorry to hear about your toe. I hope it's nothing serious. I stubbed my toe on a grocery bag full of food once, and it turned out that I broke it.
My morning has been great so far. I just got up about a half hour ago after getting an excellent night's sleep for a change. We had a busy few days with the 4th on Friday and then had people over yesterday, so I plan to do absolutely nothing today. Well, except work on my garden a bit, but I enjoy that, so that's o.k.

I'm loving all the UK threads, making me (a little) homesick. LOL about the ironing. That's a habit I can't kick. I iron so much stuff an American would never iron. There's nothing like pulling a freshly pressed T-shirt over your head.

OP, sorry about your toe. Hope it heals up quickly and doesn't give you too much trouble.
We have a lot going on around here today. I just finished cleaning out the last closet before we list our house for rent next week. Dh is military and we have orders to move back home. So, now we are just finishing up odds and ends like replacing garage door openers and smoke detectors. I see baseboard painting in my future today too.
Hope you all enjoy your Sunday!

Kids are still snoozing and I was up late finishing a book recommended by a pea. So I'm sipping coffee and watching the birds congregate at the feeders. I need to clean the upstairs carpet but I'd rather work in the garden so we shall see where that takes me.

Yay! Thank you all for helping me de-lurk. My toenail has stopped hurting now and I am trying to figure out if I should try and glue it back together or wait for half of it to fall off. Nice Thanks for all the well-wishes though. I have never heard of that wrinkle release stuff but I'm going to have to try and find a source over here. That would be amazing! Not at £120 for 10 bottles though. It's now 4.37 pm here and it's been a beautiful day. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your Sundays Kate

I got up at 8 and went for my morning walk. Kids all at work and hubby is out of state taking care of his parents so his sister could take a vacation. It's lonely around here. I watered the front yard plants and am now trying to motivate myself to do something. I think I am going to zip over to pinterest and find something interesting to make for dinner. Maybe that will get the kids home this evening. Glad your toe feels better and thanks for the downy wrinkle release tip. Never heard of it!

What does gars post mean up above. With the yellow caution tape that says "this post is under quarantine"? Is that some type of problems moderation? That's weird. It wasn't quarantined immediately and to me, it's not quarantined now. Is it to other Peas? I saw it on the jokey thread about overthrowing governments too but I don't think stubbing toes and ironing can be considered controversial can they??? Admin - can you explain the quarantine thing please?

Well, since you asked ... DS is sick and we're all tired and having a crappy day. I'm tired of cleaning up diarrhea and I don't think I've slept more than 2 hours at a time in the last 3 days. Thanks for asking!

I just realized what time it is here, almost 2 pm. I've had a really lazy day so far. I got up at 5, was sitting up in bed and drinking my coffee and reading on the ipad. The goal was to get up early, get the outside watering done before it got hot, then tackle some cleaning and organizing in my bedroom. I am also supposed to clear the table out of my dining room today because I bought a replacement that I pick up tomorrow.
I was sitting there reading the Post Secret posts and the next thing I knew, I felt something warm and damp running down my leg and hip. I startled awake and realized I had fallen asleep while drinking my coffee, and the coffee was now all over me, the bed (that I just put freshly washed linens on yesterday) my robe (that I also just freshly washed yesterday) and was starting to drip onto the floor. Thank goodness I didn't have either a dog or cat on my lap like I usually do. I can't believe I fell asleep with an almost full cup of coffee in my hand. I guess I just tipped it over and it all spilled out. I would have liked a video of that. I couldn't quite figure out what was going on when I woke though.
So now my plans have changed to rewashing all the bedding, right down to waterproof pads that I purchased to protect the mattress from a cat vomit or a puppy accident. I didn't think I needed to protect it against something I would do. I'm just glad that they were on the bed or I'd be trying to figure out how to clean coffee out of a mattress.
OP, I'm glad your toe is feeling a bit better. I'd probably wrap it to keep from getting that bit of nail hung up on something. Ouch.

The weather is beautiful here on the East coast today, and I've been enjoying being outside. I wish the weather could always be as perfect as it is today.
