How is everyone's Sunday so far?

Owwwww - bet that hurt!!!!! ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) 10.45am Sunday morning so I am finishing my coffee and getting ready to pop out to the nearest M&S (Marks & Spencer) food department to get some goodies for later! ![](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Looks as though it's going to pour down though so am pleased it won't be too far to walk to get from the car into the store. After that I'm hoping for a quiet Sunday afternoon!

Just about time for another coffee here too - 11am - but since DD made herself a hot choc when she got up with the last of the milk I'm going to walk round to our corner shop to get some more and the Sunday papers first.
Hope your toe's ok?!

It's 6:20am here and I've been up for a hour because the dogs wanted to go out. I'd say my Sunday hasn't gotten off to a good start!

UK again, it's a bit muggy and feels like it could rain soon but dry so far.
About to make a cup of tea before tackling the mountain that others would call ironing. Seriously, how does the pile get so big? I seem to be always ironing.

Aw I bet that hurt OP. Hope the nail isn't too damaged and that it heals soon for you. It's 11 55 am now and I haven't done anything that you could call constructive this morning apart from putting the meat in the oven!! I suppose I'd better start preparing the rest of the lunch ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

I know, we are still on school uniforms for the next few weeks. So everything washed, waiting to ironed for the week ahead. But I still have to retrieve her PE kit since she grabbed someone else's on Friday.

Ouch, poor you, stubbed toes hurt! I'm packing to go and visit my family this evening. I broke my tooth on Friday and my dentist is still in my home town, so it will be a bitter sweet trip! As well as packing I'm playing Clash of Clans. I'm a bit addicted to it!!

Ouch, hope that toe feels better soon.
7:14 here no one is up but me, therefore perfect time of day. I want a cup of tea but the noise might wake DH. :/ I'm hoping for a good day, though I have a ton of laundry as DS just got back from camp last night. I also see some shopping in my future as his bathing trunks dont fit right and he looked like an Abercrombie model how he was wearing his yesterday. I told him to pull up his trunks and he said he can't, they won't go up anymore. So yea he needs new ones.

Ouch OP I think you need to put your feet up and be waited upon today.
Yet another Brit here. Have been digi shopping and downloading, pinning more stuff from the Two Peas gallery. Now have to have a shower ready to go out.
Oh yes and do the ironing. Have to say though that I finish all my washing off in the tumble drier, even after being out on the line, just in an effort to get that ironing pile as low as possible.

What does gars post mean up above. With the yellow caution tape that says "this post is under quarantine"? Is that some type of problems moderation?

I first saw the quarantine banner on the thread saying you weren't to try to overthrow the Government and thought it was a joke but now I'm wondering too. I could see thread I had posted on had been updated but couldn't read the updates so I logged off, shut down and tried again which will have worked if this posts correctly! 2peasrefugees.boards.net/thread/1516/proboards-community-guidelines-hmm

Hope your toe is feeling better. It's 9.35 pm here so our sunday is all but over. We went to church this morning followed by our usual pub lunch. Went to visit the IL's in the nursing home then came home for a nap. DD found a sick native rat on the back lawn so we made him a nest in a bird cage. Then back out to church and now home watching Elementary ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

Does the Wrinkle Release really work that well? I've been a doubter...I figure if you have to iron the heck out of something, how does a spray do the job? It's Sunday AM here too....doing some school work, waiting on my laundry out of the dryer so I can shower. Then i'm off to puppy class this morning! Wish I were headed to the beach or something fun.

I have no idea the black magic that makes this stuff work, but it does. The only thing that it doesn't really work well on is linen, but honestly, ironing linen isn't all that effective either. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Ivm7lm0DayrhoRpwvCeH.jpg) I have boys, boys that don't always care about whether or not they look like a wrinkled mess. There have been many a day that I have stopped them at the door as they are leaving for school and said "close your eyes kid" and sprayed their uniforms while they are standing there. Within moments, they looked less like their mother was a phone call away from child protective services. It isn't as crisp as ironing with starch, but for the most part it works really well. In fact, I have found over the years that you can dilute it half water, half product and still get the same results.

Anxiousmom, I've just checked out Amazon UK to see if it's available here. The cost comes in at just under £120 sterling for 12 bottles. Thats about $206 US. I think I might have to stick to the iron and steam!! ![](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

![:yeahthat:](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/yrGoHMAelQz8f2Qt0sjb.jpg) I love the Downy Wrinkle Release! The generic versions from Dollar General work well too. I only iron dresses and such. Everyday stuff gets the wrinkle release and life is good! Our Sunday is being spent going to a graduation party then later we are headed to a winery. Right now I am lounging in my pj's with my iPad. OP - That toe sounds painful. Hope it feels better soon.

Good for you for starting a thread! I'm sorry about your toe! I dropped a big pair of scissors right on my toe once and the whole thing turned black and blue.
I'm drinking a cup of coffee, listening to classical music, and cross stitching. No one else is up yet.
