How do you keep track of your project life weeks/months (ideas) until you actually get time to do them? I think that larger blocks of time are going to work better for me - so it could be 2-3 weeks between sessions, but I don't want to lose my ideas for the week (hoping to do weekly PL). Tell me what you do?

I use lots of post-it notes in my album for notes. I also keep an 8.5x11 page protector between each layout to collect memoriabilia, sketches, PL planner pages, etc until I finish the layout. For broader inspiration, I have a Project Life pinterest board. Marcy Penner Project Life Planner Pages

I try to write down notes with my Day One app. It's a pain to finger-type many sentences on my iPhone so I usually wait until I'm in front of my computer. If there's not much going on, I just jot down several words into my planner.

Whatever is convenient. Honestly, I look through tweets, FB and emails when I have to catch up. I purposely send myself emails that I know are just for this purpose.

I sometimes write what I want to remember on a grid or lined journal card. Then, I just embellish it when I am ready to put it in the album.

I keep a journal every day on my laptop. Some days we do a heck of a lot and other days we are very sedate. For instance today is the anniversary of adopting our first Golden Retriever. He has been with us for 10 years. In fact, as I sit here on the couch, Pepper is laying right here beside me. He's a laugh a day so there is always something to scrap around here.

I have a paper planner where I jot down a few sentences each night about what happened today. It's a quick way to write down a few things to remember. I am using it almost daily for reference when I try to remember which day we went to my grandparents for dinner, how long it's been since tha last dentist appt and so on. Takes five minutes every night. I guess you could buy a small dayplanner and do the same for PL-ideas. I also collect tickets, receipts pamflets and such in a plastic sleeve to make sure I have all the stuff I want to include in my PL in the same place, and don't have to scrounge around my purse or nightstand for them while I am scrapping.

I mostly pin ideas I can come back to on Pinterest. If there was somehing specific I wanted to remember like an event I'd use the Collect app and if it was just a general reminder I'd probably use iPhone reminders and have it pop up on a certain day.

I use the Day One app to record notes/events for the week. On my computer I keep a file for FB posts and text messages from the family which I may want to add to our PL pages. That file gets stored with my photos which are sorted by week. I try to set aside an hour a week for catch up and to organize my files which helps me when I actually do get around to putting together the pages. At present I'm still working on 2014 layouts so I haven't even tackled any for 2015...but the info is there.

If it is my idea (and it exists only in words) I use Day One app to jot it down. If it is someone else's idea (which I've seen on Pinterest or instagram) I save it (make a screenshot) and organize using the Curator app on my iPhone. Then when I have a PL session and want to try some ideas I open the app and choose the needed photo.

In previous years I kept an Excel spreadsheet. I had 3 columns: 1. Date 2. what photo I took 3. some brief journaling about the photo
It's funny how you think you will remember why you took a particular photo, but if you don't get around to scrapping it or journaling for a few months, you can easily forget.

Mostly I go back and look at texts and IG to figure out what was happening. If it's really important, I'll write it down on a sticky note and put on the front of my album with the week # & date.
