All of the Two Peas links from the original Cameo Master Thread have been converted to pdf and moved to a dropbox account. The links to sites other than Two Peas can still be accessed by clicking the link in the original thread. Thank you to pinkprincess77 for all your time and energy spent on this! Thanks to 61RedHead as well, all links are uploaded and available! I've changed the name of the main Silhouette file to have a 1 in front of it (no special characters allowed) so that it stays at the top as it organizes them alphabetically. Here is the link: www.dropbox.com/sh/y9fowgfj87k4xj6/AADe30sRT5MUR1QK5l83dDSGa

I can't seem to get the pdf to download for "Changing Colors in a Print and Cut". Can someone else try it and see if it works for them? I really want to learn how to do this.

Could someone save the thread about backing up the Cameo library? I don't know how to do it or I would.

I have copied that thread and the link to the outside page. I will send them to PinkPrincess77 and ask her to add them to the dropbox files.

I am very new here, only about five minutes old. Can someone please explain about the threads connected to this? I am a one year Cameo user, and a cardmaker. I really want to get all I can out of this amazing machine.

I tried backing up my silouette files today but could not find the file that was recommended, so I went on a live chat with Silouette and she told me to open each file in the program then save it to my desktop. All the files I have already used are saved in my documents, so I saved that file, now I just have to save the ones I have not used. It will be time consuming but at the same time, a reminder of the files I have. I have my files i. Folders in the library, so I am making a file for each so it will be easier to find if I need to. Btw, I also downloaded the upgrade for Silhouette so I can use the pix scan.

Thank you so much for putting this together! It helped me load some files onto my software.
I feel like this is a pretty silly question.. I am in kit clubs and that have a "monthly digital file" that comes with them. I am just now going through and downloading these... some are in color so I assume they are print and cut files? Or are there specific files for "print and cut"?
another silly question... do you print on cardstock/does it have a problem/get bent going through a printer?
Thanks so much again!

loco coco - it's hard to say if the file is print and cut or not, without seeing the file. Some designers go a head and fill in each element of a design, but it is not necessarily done for printing purposes. If the cut lines are for each part of the design - it is probably a cut file. If the cut lines are only around the shape as a whole - it is probably print and cut. I print on cardstock all the time and have no trouble with it feeding through my printer. I even print on paper bags, burlap, and other fabrics! I do have a top load printer now, and it does seem to handle the heavier materials better than a bottom load printer - but cardstock was never an issue with any of my printers.

I don't know if anyone will see this because there hasn't been a post since 2016! LOL
I have 2 questions - recently I was changing laptops and a computer savvy friend loaded all my programs, files etc onto a thumb drive. Then from there we loaded everything onto the laptop. When I opened my Silhouette program it had been updated, which is great BUT I had all my images in categories and all those categories are now gone. So I have spent a few hours re-categorizing them. However, while doing that I realized that a lot of my images seem to be missing. I know that I can't find several images I used for cards. How do I get them back?
Also at one point, someone somewhere had made a file where the grid on the screen was numbered just like the mat. You could download the file and then click on it to transfer it to your screen when you started a new project. So helpful. Does any one know what I'm talking about and can help me find it again?
