as you have gotten older? Or is it just me? Like "may cause drowsiness" never really affected me when younger. Then, bam! In 40's (?) I better be somewhere where a nap is available. Is it just me, or have you too grown more susceptible to these seemingly harmless OTC drugs?

Are you taking the OTC med on a regular basis? Often the first few doses of a medication will result in being drowsy but it lessens after a few days. Do you weigh the same as you used to? I've always felt that body weight had a bearing on a set med dose. I weigh a lot more now than I used to. Maybe you weigh less than in your younger days.

I wish. Nothing makes me drowsy but ambien. Life long insomniac.

Anything affects me...an aspirin and I'm loopy,nyquil...I'm out. RX anything and I have to take half the amount and I'm still done. Maybe it's because of age...but whatever it is my husband thinks it's funny.

I don't think so. If it does I don't seem to notice and I have a few years on you at 64. Mind you I rarely take any.
