I need someone to be accountable to right now in my life. I am setting goals to eat healthier, to lose weight and to read more. I wanted to see if any peas would be interested in having a weekly thread where we set goals and then report back each week? For me accountability really helps. I did Weight Watchers years ago but don't have the money right now to do it.
In the past year I have lost over 40lbs but I have a little ways more to go. The biggest thing for me right now is getting my body super healthy. Here are my goals this week. I find that if I set more than 5 goals in a week, I am less successful.
1. Drink more water and keep track of it. Drink at least 100 ounces a day. 2. Lose 3 lbs at least. 3. Read 2 books. 4. Walk at least 5 times this week or go swimming. 5. Write in my journal at least 2 times this week.
What goals do you want to set this week? It could be anything.

The biggest ones are: 1 - run 3 days this week 2 - schedule a physical for ds #2 3 - schedule a colonoscopy for me 4 - schedule a mammogram for me 5 - mail in paperwork for handicapped placard for my van for ds #2
Nothing exciting, but all needs to happen this week.

I'm on a similar path. I started watching what I eat this week. I need to lose 40 lbs and I just hate the way I've been feeling. I realized I had to make some changes. I could definitely use some accountability. So my goals for this week are:
1. Journal my food everyday.
2. Add in some exercise. I want to walk at least 3 times this week.
3. Drink more water and cut back my diet coke habit to one per day.
4. No alcohol. I'm trying to cut out alcohol for an entire month. My wine habit led to a cheese habit, which led to me gaining 16 pounds.

I'll do it.
My goals are
1. Lose 3 to 5 lbs (I need to lose a lot more but it's only 1 week right) 2. Exercise a little each day 3. Eat more vegetables. 4. Have a conversation with a person I don't know. (I'm really shy but I really need to learn to be more outgoing)

Does reporting back on the progress of your goals next Sunday work for the all of you? I had to edit 3 since the numbers have grown substantially.

I'll play! I need to get back on track after relaxing a bit for the holiday!
1. Get back to tracking my food and make my weekly phone call w/dietician
2. Get back to walking in the mornings (and wearing my pedometer)
3. Get 4th of July decorations put away
4. Don't let baseball tournament stress get to me this week and derail everything! Plan ahead!
5. Find some quiet time each day to do something I enjoy. Read, swim, craft, something, ANYTHiNG for at least 15 minutes after work. I turn into a witch without downtime!
6. Make sure to get the boys chores written down each day so they are done!

You must have read my mind! I'm struggling with setting some new routines to which there are goals attached. - Out of bed by 6am
- Groom 2-3 horses a day
- Train with 2-3 horses a day
- Get laundry caught up
- Make dinner 4 out 7 nights.
Good luck to us all!

1-clean out my room. It's the most neglected room of the house. Enough already. 2-organize paperwork. 3-take car to Carmax to get idling issue looked at 4-purge the pantry 5-back to school clothes shopping with 17 yo DD. She's going to be a senior and wants to rock it! She starts August 18th, but we have a brief break in her schedule and need to strike while the iron is hot so to speak!

1. Run 3 times this week. 2. Make optometrist appointment. 3. Get vacation pictures printed. 4. Make a start at organizing/backing up all my pictures - a long term project that I dread. 5. No alcohol and no sugar this week - had way too much of both while on vacation.

I'm definitely interested. I am going to be out of pocket this week because of jury duty. Hopefully, I will be back to normal after that.

Yes, I think I'll play too.
1. Stay on budget. We have started paying cash with the envelope system. 2. Make at least 20 cards and 3 mini albums for my new business. 3. Shampoo our disgusting carpets. (And yes, I budgeted for it. LOL) 4. Open Emergency Fund acct. at the credit union.

I'm starting a new job this week and have to pack my lunch everyday. That also means leaving healthy food options for my boys while I'm at work and it also means putting a little more thought into what we are having for dinner. So without further ado...
1.plan and execute 5 healthy lunches 2 meal plan for 5 dinners 3 weed and mulch front garden and mulch side garden and set up with shade plants in containers (impossible dirt conditions and will be selling and possibly taking plants in a year or so.

Awesome I am glad so many want to participate. Hopefully we can encourage each other along the way. There is strength in numbers. For me I also tend to follow through with my goals more if I know someone will be checking on me. Even if it's not people I know. Hopefully next week we will all see some progress and some successes and we can share them with each other.

1. Journal 4-5 days this week. 2. Actually stick to the daily house cleaning schedule I just set up for the week. 3. Spend 1 hour doing something creative each day - crochet, digi scrapping, etc. 4. Get fingerprinted for background check for internship. 5. Spend 18 hours at library studying while DD is at her ballet intensives. 6. Do some special small thing each day for DH that he doesn't expect.
