I'm actually scraping today and have struggled getting a page to come together when it dawned on me...one of the things I have on order form 2Peas is exactly what I need for this page. My order is not due to ship til the 15th so I won't be able to finish this page today.

That is a long time to wait.
I am also an USAF mom. My son is currently deployed to Qatar.

But I'm going to wait because if I don't I'll probably wish I had when I get my order. My son has been in Qatar many, many times. He is no longer active duty but is in the Reserves. He is a commissioned officer and was and is still in Intel. He just graduated from Law School May 9th and is currently studying like crazy for the BAR later this month. All of his education (Bachelor, Master, and Law School) has been funded by the Air Force. If you would like, tell us about your son. I'm sure you are just as proud of your son as I am mine. I'm proud of all of our men and women in the military.

He thinks he wants to be a teacher when he finally gets out, so he is working on a history and an English degree. This is his first deployment. I am unsure what he does for the AF as he is unable to talk about his job or what he does. He is stationed in Oahu when he is not deployed, so my grand kids live too far from me, but we love to go see them. It sounds like your son has done well with his AF career.

My son can never tell me what he does either. I'm lucky he was stationed close enough for me to go see him some and he could come home most holidays. He did a tour in Iraq. That was the hardest for me. But he did get to call some which helped but I was sure thankful when that tour was over. Good luck to your son.
