Somehow we find ourselves with 2-1/2 bottles of whiskey...and we don't drink. I know there are sauces and desserts using bourbon, but does anyone have some tried and true recipes that use whiskey? TIA!

I use bourbon or whiskey in my baked beans. Also in sweet potato casserole. Steaks marinaded in bourbon and balsamic vinegar (equal parts) then lots of black pepper are delicious!

Oh, I could go for some baked beans! And the steak marinade sounds delish. Thanks so much!

Does whiskey go bad? Someone gave us a bottle 30 years ago and it's still sitting there. We don't drink much at home except wine, beer or margaritas.

Pioneer Woman has a recipe on her website called Peach-Whiskey Barbeque Chicken. I have made it and it was a big hit around here.
