I decided to look up the Fresh Wave odor eliminator thing mentioned on another thread, because I'd never heard of it. Seems like a reasonable product to purchase. But Amazon suggested, based on my interest, that I might also enjoy the following product ... Booty Fresh Private Odor Lifter
This is really a thing? It claims to remove odors not only from the surface of the skin itself, but also bacteria and odors that have been trapped UNDER the skin. Of your booty. Or other nether-regions. Or it's apparently also good in lieu of a shower when you're camping. Thoughts?

I'm not sure I want to click on the link, b/c god knows what amazon and google will bombard me with next! But, just from reading your post, I tend to think wild, BS claim. Removing bacteria and odors from under the skin? The smartass in me wants to ask if an odor is actually an odor if no one can smell it. As for the camping thing-meh. Totally not buying it. Nothing replaces a shower, but there are already wet wipes, etc. and that's about the best you can do while doing serious camping/hiking w/o access to a shower. How do they say the under the skin thing works?

They don't say. A couple of the reviews say it smells vinegar-y, which makes me think it's probably just a little vinegar in a bottle of distilled water. And they want $25 for 4 ounces! I'd be tempted to buy it as a gag gift for someone, but not at that price.

sisterbdsq - the master crapsman item you linked is Poo-Pourri. Which totally works. I bought it for my DH and kids who like to do their business in the downstairs powder room.

I'm sure it's a perfectly ok booty spray, but nothing special. And you're right about that price-crazy.

Someone had Poo-pourri in the office bathroom and it did seem to actually work. But did you see Poo-pourri also makes a breath spray? Just... no.

My dogs would be so bummed if I didn't have a little booty smell. As long as I can't smell it, I'm good.

I'm only somewhat familiar with the product. As in, the one time I watched the funny video that made the rounds. I didn't know they had gift packs with suggestive names. I was rather impressed with their craptitude!

I was telling my husband about this. He told me not to waste my money. Man, I am getting some. We are traveling out of the country and four of us are sharing a bathroom. Ugh. We haven't had to share a room since 2008!
