I'm not picky or specific whether it's a cookie, pie, cake, etc..
I'm not a fan of key lime but after all these years I just found out this is one of my mom's favorite flavors (I swear she never mentioned it or ordered this when I was with her)
and I'd like to make her a key lime treat this week...
there are tons on the net but I'd prefer to hear what you made and loved... so please give me your best tried and true recipes! Thanks!

I made these not too long ago...and we are a bit of key lime snobs around here and everyone loved it. I made this recipe, but used real key limes and their rind, and real whipping cream with some of the lime rind. We all really liked it. Key Lime ParfaitsI get my key limes from the grocery store, but I live in Florida so maybe it is easier for me? But if you can't find key limes, you can use Nellie and Joe's Key West Lime Juice. You should be able to find it in the same place as the lemon and lime juice. |

I'd like to know where to find key limes? My two local grocers don't carry them. I was wondering if that would be an issue here too - we are small town and don't have a lot of specialty stuff. And thanks for the recipes! |

Sigh, we had key limes coming out of our ears for years and then our tree died this spring while we were on vacation and there was a heat wave. I never found a great recipe though, and I guess now I really don't have to. Ironically I went to key west when my tree died!
