I am a Christian woman, and I don't make the cut according to the list. I would think any Christian man taking this advice to heart is facing an extremely small dating pool.

I find this list extremely sad and oppressive. However we do see this play out in real life, for instance with the Duggars. As much I think they have a good family and morals, it seems like similar minded people would value this list.

None of them would agree with this list. This list only applies to extremely conservative branches of Christianity. |

Oh no! Clearly my DH and I are doomed! He's divorced and I don't want children. Also, at 38, I feel that I may now qualify as an 'older' woman than what this list was thinking of. We both identify as Christian, but maybe we should re-think things!

I just think his statements are contradictory. #3 says no woman can teach or be in a position of authority over a man, but #9 says it's okay for a woman to have a career, even as a professional, as long as she puts her home and family first.
I don't see how it's possible for a woman to be a doctor or a lawyer or a professor and not be in a position of authority over men.
So he doesn't know what he thinks, either.
(waiting for Skybar to step in and tell me that I don't know what's in the Bible in three, two, one ... )
