It vacuumed up some of the letters in your post title.

We have a Dust Buster. I'm not thrilled with it. It just seems to work "OK."

This one. I love it. It works better on my stairs and furniture than my Dyson animal.

This one. I love it. It works better on my stairs and furniture than my Dyson animal. I have the same one. It does a great job. My only complaint is it is a little heavy and my hand starts cramping after awhile.

I have two of these - Black & Decker - and like them. I like that they are cordless and fold in half, very convenient. I don't want to have to plug the little handheld guy in to use it. But, I don't think it would be the best for stairs or heavy-duty jobs. I'd recommend you identify how important different features are: - Cord or Cordless - Strength of suction - Rolling brush? (Important for pet hair) - Size to store - Ease to empty And go from there.

I have a hand held dyson. It's better than the other types I've had but not great. It is cordless and has pretty powerful suction but it's "life" is short and then needs to recharge. I've only run out of juice on one or two occasions- I think it lasts maybe 8 minutes. But if your family doesn't plug it in to charge you are out of luck.

This one. I love it. It works better on my stairs and furniture than my Dyson animal. This is the one I bought too based on the recommendation of the Peas. It's great for stairs and the car and has a nice long cord too.

Enablers!!!! Just ordered the first one from Amazon. I hate using my Dyson on steps. So awkward.
