I just came across this youtube announcement today. I'm curious how much the markers will be sold for individually? I like the newest color, and can't wait to see more! What do you think?

I'm excited about the new colors, and will probably purchase all of them (and the mini ink pads and refills). I really like the green, and have high hopes for the rest of them. Hopefully, they will release a bright red marker, I'm not too impressed by the red colors so far.

I like the mini pads and the case created for them. That can be a great way to stock up on colors without the expense of full-size pads.

I will be getting them all as well. You have to have a complete set. I have all the reinkers as well. No markers. I refuse to buy. Some stains not many. I am really tempted to now by the mini's. I'm just having a hard time justifying it. I mean I own all the big pads now. And by the time I buy all existing 48 plus the tins, I could buy a lot of dies for that money..but the ease of the minis just is sooooo better.
I am hoping there is a great red, I agree we need a bright one. I'd like a leafy green too. I'm wondering if there will be a metallic in there. maybe a gold colour if not in metallic or another grey. those are my predictions

I would love to see a crisper red, a much wider range of violets, a fuchsia, a mid coral, a lighter pool, a taupey grey, maybe a lighter mint than pistachio, a pale or mid thistle/orchid. Metallics would be neat. Is picket fence possible in pad form, I wonder?
No markers for me; I have tombows already, and for watercolors, tombows and distress markers are a bit pricey.

I'm looking forward to the new colors but I wonder if we will be to purchase parts of the color release individually. Right now I see the pre-orders showing as a group purchase. I love the inks, pens and stains but I don't go in for paints and I i don't alway buy the re inkers.....it really depends on the color what I buy.
I think the minis will come as a separate release in 4color packs......I'm pretty excited about new colors......but I'm a inkaholic!

According to the video I saw of Tim announcing the new colors, everything will be available individually. 12 new colors in 2015 - one color per month in each (2 sizes of ink pads, marker, distress ink...)

I'm in Canada until our dollar comes back I'm not buying anything. Its 25% right now. Just to high. I had my refund from ebates I was thinking I would buy January and February's ink pad and reinker going to be an extra $7.50 for exchange, on top of shipping. works out that each item is then $10 a piece. Just way to high

Yes you can purchase the items individually if you want. I have all of the Cracked Pistachio in the store now, and they are available individually.

lisavb, does the cracked pistachio come in the mini ink pad, too? It will eventually. The mini ink pads won't be released until 4 colors are released to make the 4 pack. So, in May we'll have a 4 pack with January, February, March and April's colors in the pack. That's when you will be able to buy them open stock too, but not until the 4 pack is released.

Tim's blog says that the new color will be released at noon today. I am betting that the new color is a red/pink.

Don't like it. At all.
Even though I have the rest of them, and have a mild *cough* hoarder tendency when it comes to all things distress ink, I don't think I'm going to buy it.

I'd like to see it in person. From the colour on the labels I was "meh" but I quite like it in use, but then when you compare it to some of the other colours in his range it really is quite similar so I could probably find alternatives to the new colour for any project I'm working on.

Dissenting opinion: I would have avoided another pink but I will benefit from a coral in my collection so I am happy.
