What did you think? We were disappointed. I think this season has been really good but it seemed that they tried to wrap it up too quickly. Especially Elsa's ending. How was everything ok and the freaks all love her when they knew she was responsible for the bearded lady's death?

I was thinking the same thing. I mean, she was outraged by most of the deaths because she did love them (in her weird way), but she killed Ethel, so I don't like that it ended up she doesn't suffer at all. I did like that she went out by performing on Halloween. I thought that was a good arc. Didn't they make the con man into a limbless freak? Did Dandy kill him, too? If not, where is he? Glad Angela Bassett's character ended up happy and that Dandy died, but I'm a little by Jimmy & the girls ending up together. Aside from the fact that it's weird (is he only married to the one?), they seem to be leading this normal life. How can that be? How are they making a living? They should have given us a little more insight into their lives. This is the first of the series I've watched, so I don't know if all the seasons end this way or not. Overall I liked it, so I will definitely watch the next one, but the ending did leave me underwhelmed (other than Dandy's massacre).

I did feel a bit rushed. Dandy going berserk and killing all the freaks seemed a bit like a cop out. Their vengeance on him was great though! I did like that Elsa got what she wanted and was miserable.
The big rumor is that next season it will be set around the Black Hat operations. There was a lot of black top hat imagery this season. Then they even mentioned the manufactured city's they practiced A Bombs. But just a rumor.

Remember that Ethel was about to kill Elsa for taking the girls away and overhearing deals between her and Stanley. I thought it was a little rushed but I was happy with the ending. My friend was not. He didn't like it. I'm not sure how I felt about Dandy's death. It was bad but not as bad as I think it should have been.
I was wondering what the attraction was between Elsa and the young casting guy but then they showed her doing her dom/submissive thing with him so it made sense.
I liked that the 4 survivors all had a pretty good life; well Bette didn't have a man but I surmised that marrying Dandy that she inherited all his money. It would make sense that they could provide for themselves in that case. I laughed when Jimmy was feeling the baby with his wooden claw.
I wondered what happened to the Human Chicken (Stanley) - guess he just died in the coop.
My son loved that Edward Mordrake and Twisty made an appearance. I loved this season.

I might have to watch the season finale to watch Dandy die! I stopped watching it before the holidays because I was just so BORED with it.

This was my first season watching and while I loved the season, I too think the ending was wrapped up too quickly. However, I did miss the last two weeks so I have to go back and watch those. Finished watching Murder House and I have started the 2nd one. Didn't know what I was missing all this time!

The only reason I kept watching was because of Dandy. I wanted him to ride off into the sunset. I like Jessica Lange, but I was so over her act and all that crap. She did not deserve a happy ending. I was like WTF!
