Good morning ladies! It's almost Friday! YAY!
I hope everyone's having a good week and is staying on track. I'm doing pretty well. I have this insatiable hunger yesterday late afternoon and evening. I feel like I was eating constantly...but I logged EVERY.SINGLE.THING into MFP and it was still several hundred calories less than my goal for the day. So that was a win!
Tomorrow is my weigh in day. The scale has been inching down a little bit...not much but some. I hope that it stays down for weigh in tomorrow.
Breakfast this morning was 2 pieces of whole grain wheat toast with 1 tbsp of pb and a banana. And coffee.
I have to work today...I only work on Mondays and Thursdays so it's been a week since I've been to work since Monday was a holiday. Hopefully the time will go by quickly. I have almost an hour from the time I get home from work until I have to go and pick up the kids so I may try to get my workout in then. It depends on how hungry I am and if I can just grab something quick for lunch. If I need something that's going to take a bit of time, I'll have to wait until after getting the kids to do my work out.
I hope you gals have a great day!!

Good morning! Happy back to work day for you, Brandy. I'm not working today and heading to step class after I get DS off to school. My booty is still a bit sore from Tuesday's class. I may go to a yoga class tonight. Still undecided. The rest of my day is filled with household chores, etc. I finally made that freakin' pasta dish that I've been putting off last night and it was really good. I'll probably make it again but I'll use a little less cheese and more sauce. Very good though. I will say though, after eating a generous portion of pasta last night, I feel bloated in my belly. I don't feel that way if I eat a little bit of pasta/bread/crackers, etc., but when I eat an entire serving of pasta, I feel that way. Anyone else? Tonight I'm making a new recipe for BBQ chicken in the crock pot and will probably serve mine on lettuce wrap, the rest of the family on a bun. Not sure what we're having for a side. Of course cole slaw sounds good, but the kids don't like that so I need to come up with something else. ETA: I meant to say this yesterday, but WELCOME to all the new faces that have joined our group! Wishing you all a great day!

Yesterday was an ok day. I was STARVING all morning even though I ate a good breakfast. I had to make cupcakes for DH's work and only ate one mini and a lick of frosting to test flavoring which is huge for me. Usually I would have licked the frosting bowl after I was done!
No real workout. My planter fascists is flaring so babying my feet right now.

Good morning ladies! I'm only a bit sore after my workout yesterday - I kind of like it because it makes me aware of my muscles and actually motivates me to keep at it. No workout today but I might swing by the gym after work for some cardio. Generally, outside of a lot of walking (14,000+ steps yesterday!), I don't do any cardio. I spent yesterday trying unsuccessfully to eat my workout calories. I ended up with 475 calories below plan which, I guess, sounds like a great problem to have but my goal is to gain muscle and that's not going to happen when I'm eating at a deficit. Anyway, Breakfast: Steel cut oats, protein powder (in a glass today ), coffee, cream & sugar, a crumpet with butter and rhubarb jam Snack: Quest bar Lunch: a Montreal smoked meat sandwich from a local deli. Snack: blood orange Dinner: who knows? So far that's 1126 calories and 86 grams of protein.

Morning!
I've had a lazy start to my day - I've been up since 7:30, but am just now having my coffee and working on making something for breakfast - it's 9am here....
I took ribs out for dinner, and since I have to stop and buy sugar & egg whites for making buttercream today, I'll pick up some coleslaw mix to go with. THat will do for me, and I'll make potatoes for the family to go with.
Haven't even thought about lunch yet!

I've hit that 3 week plateau that happens to me all the time!!! I just don't get it. I still have 40 lbs to loose, I'm still exercising, drinking water, sleeping, following low carb and the scale has not budged this week.
This happens to me every time, with every diet I ever try.
This is where I fall off the wagon !

This is where I fall off the wagon ! Don't give up just because of the scale! I have gained and lost weight more than once. Every time I begin this process, it takes forever to ride out that plateau, but it does happen. I've had the scale sit unmoving for weeks when I'm exercising my heart out and measuring every calorie. It gets disheartening but if you keep at it, the weight will once again start to melt off. You can do this! If you stay with it, you will feel and see the difference a month from now. In three months everyone will notice. Trust me!

Morning Ladies! Last night was WW meeting, down 1 lb. Better than a gain, but was hoping for about 2-2.5 lbs. It seems every few months I go through a few weeks of back and forth with losing and gaining. I'm hoping I'm near the end of this round.
Today for breakfast was an Evol Chicken Sausage sandwich, Dannon Greek yogurt, and an apple. Lunch is tuna salad, whole great crackers, with carrots and clementine's. Dinner is going to be out with a friend.
It's almost Friday!!

Don't look at the scale, Evelyn, go by how you feel. Trust your body, and make sure you are eating enough food, too.
Breakfast: frittata with tomatoes, peppers, onions and grass fed pork sausage, fruit Lunch: hamburger w/ homemade mayo, roasted sweet potato, salad Dinner: chicken and apple sausage, small round potatoes with onion, chopped salad, fruit

Day 3 for me. I'm doing well. Had a headache yesterday, but I assume that's my body yelling for carbs. I had an excellent dinner last night of lemon pepper tilapia and broccoli. So I had the same thing for lunch a little while ago. I'm still on my plan of focusing on food this week and starting exercise next week.

SO glad it's almost Friday. Finished day 2 of Oly Training. Lots of jerks! The lift. Not men. Warmed up Paleo Pumpkin Chili from the freezer for dinner with some fresh strawberries. I will admit I threw some of DD's goldfish crackers on top of the chili--I needed some cheesy crunch. evelynr , are you eating enough? Sometimes eating too FEW calories can result in the scale not budging. Almost to the weekend ladies, hang tough!

Well I didn't do too good today. I had kind of a splurge dinner. Fish tacos but I ate some chips and salsa when I was cooking the,.
I also had a handful of my kids valentines hearts. (Not even that good)
I tried the red cabbage wedges as something crunchy to dip in hummus. It was pretty good and I wasn't tempted to overeat.
Ready to get back on track tomorrow.

I did not eat a brownie. Someone brought them in today and they smelled wonderful.
