I went to visit my son last week at his apartment in the next city over. I looked on his empty bookshelf and there was my only, portable, working Fiskar's trimmer. I am sure he raided my craft room for something or other (I lose scissors and stuff all the time) but the paper trimmer walked away too? I just laughed. They are handy though. If you need to cut something small and want it fairly precise (we aren't talking scrapbooker precise we are talking 19 year old boy precise) a paper trimmer is perfect. Looks like I will wait for a Michaels coupon and replace it before I wish I had...

too funny - I just handed my old (c.2002) fiskars down to my husband to use for his patch collecting (he labels the patches) when I replaced it last week because he kept borrowing it and not returning

I bet mine's unique - DH keeps taking my punches down to his hobby room. He creates board games, and uses them to create tokens, etc. Every once in a while he'll bring a few up and ask if I missed them.

Too funny! I own 3 corner rounders because DD kept stealing mine then "losing" them in her room - when she moved out to go to university, we found 2! And she "borrowed" my original paper trimmer so much I eventually just gave it to her and bought a newer one. But now the original lives in the dining room where DH and DS use it (DH for his volunteer organization, and DS for school projects and such.)

My paper trimmer sits in the kitchen where it is easily accessible, and dh will pull it out of the tote and use it for cutting labels he has printed off. He has also been known to use my SB scissors. Now the supplies used to walk off with dd....as a result, I finally started buying her a set of her own set so when she moved out she didn't take mine

My Dh uses my trimmer, and has been known to use my cardstock to print off his business cards... He has used my AC slick writer and my CAD
He often stands in the doorway and looks at my stuff - but then, I tell him NOT to bleat when he uses it, lol

You're a good mom.... I would have taken the original home with me!

DH tries to never step a foot in my lair, LOL. Instead, he just tells me he needs me to do him a favor so he doesn't have to go digging through my junk. He wouldn't have the first clue where to even look for anything anyway!

I found 3 pairs of my scissors in my mom's room the other day. All my Tim Holtz scissors and Kai scissors are missing. Yes MISSING. I have hundreds of dollars invested in scissors. I found 3 pair. There are about 8 pairs missing. Hmmm
