Love it! Sometimes I look at all of my polish and think it was a waste of money since there are several that I have only worn once. But then I remember that I do my own nails and the cost I have spent on polish is less than if I was getting professional manicures/pedicures regularly.

I have maybe 60-some bottles, and the other day I was arranging them by color. It's funny to see which shades you favor. For me, it's lots of purples and blues.

I saw this on Instagram this morning! (reposted by...let me look...another pea-Jenn Allyson, ha!)
I'm not a huge nail polish person but I'm a fan of rainbow AND organization, so it's a win in my book!

Wow. I think I have 7 bottles. You clearly have a preferred brand, what is it and why do you like it? Zoya is the brand I like the most. Primarily because the formula is really good... I get great wear out of it (I can go a week without chips). They also have really fantastic colors and finishes. They are also 5-free, which means the polish isn't as smelly as other polishes can be. I had whooping cough a couple of years ago, and I still have issues with strong chemical smells today. I only wear Zoya too and have been looking for a display for them, but mine chips every day, I'm constantly doing touch ups even with the clear top coat. It looks like you have 10 black nail polishes of the same shade?

It's so pretty all displayed that way. Mine would not be impressive. I probably have fewer than 20 bottles and I'm not very adventurous with my colors. I credit the Peas with introducing me to Zoya and I really do love their polishes.

I just showed my almost 13 year-old the picture of your collection. I think she wants to ditch me and move in with you!
It's very pretty and looks like wall art. Thanks for the brand name. I think I will buy her a bottle for her birthday.

I very rarely even wear nail polish and only have 3 bottles, but I want your display! So beautifully organized.

I'm not even really into nail polish, and I think that looks awesome. Just what I was thinking!! My DSO made me a rack for my paints and a big one for my spices. I was going to ask him to make something similar for DD's nail polishes, so I will show him your amazing rack - although DD doesn't have anywhere near that many bottles!

I think this demands that you show us your manicure every week - with pictures! I love the set up!

Looking at your bottles, I now see why some people ask why I need so many colors of paper, so closely the same shade. Because I do!!!

I love it! I am impressed with all your polish, and it does look like Zoya is your favorite!
Which nail polish blogs do you recommend? Also, what base and top coat do you use? Do you have any tips on getting your manicure to last a week? I would love to talk nails with you!

I love all the Zoya. I think it may be my favorite brand, as well. Now the tough question is---do you have a favorite out of all of them? Umm. Could I pick a favorite from each color family? Yes! I would also love to hear your favorites from each color!

That's lovely! I have over 900, so this isn't really a feasible option for me. I have mine sorted by brand in three Ikea Helmers. I don't give even one shit about whether it's a waste of money, or how often I wear them. It's my thing. Also, nail polish doesn't go "bad", whether it's a cheap drugstore brand or a Chanel. You thin them with polish thinner if they get gloopy. Occasionally you may have one change color, if the pigment is unstable, but it doesn't go "bad". I found about ten polishes from 10-20 years old in the back of a closet when I moved, and they were all just fine. They were Revlon, Sally Hansen, and OPI and even a lowly Sinful Colors. Only one of them even needed thinning! Thanks for sharing Gennifer!

That is so beautiful!!! I'm envious. I wish I could stop biting my nails. Painting my nails regularly is how I stopped biting them. I was a hard-core nailbiter from the age of 10 (you know the deal: cuticles would bleed, couldn't open a can of pop because it hurt my fingertips) until I started painting them. I'm not great at it, and I don't do any nail art, but it has done the job as far as the biting.

I probably have 300 bottles of polish and I've been trying to figure out where to put a shelf in my house similar to that to hold it all.

I have thought about painting my nails, but I feel like I would just be drawing attention to short, stubby nails, you know? Like, why the heck is she painting HER nails? Maybe I will try it over spring break when I have a solid chunk of time off school.

And if your nails are like mine, they can't look any worse with polish on them. Good luck!

Gee, I showed the pic to my DH and he didn't say spookum about building me a cabinet like that! But then my polish collection fits loosely in an empty baby wipe box! Butter London is my fav brand.

I collect clothes and scrapbooking supplies. And yoga wear.
Very pretty. What time do you have on Monday? Say 2 pm? I need a manicure and would like something pink. Thanks!
