Hi,
I have Google Chrome, downloaded the VPL ,followed various directions on how to download, and then nothing! I have tried everything I can think to do, and I get a message that says the Windows media player doesn't recognize something or other.
I see that little reel up in the right of the browser bar,but when I start play on a video, the reel just goes to the green arrow before I can click on it.
Any ideas here?

From other posts, there were others with frustrations about downloading through Chrome, so I went the Firefox route. I responded on the other post with details.

I have a Mac. Even with Chrome it was just too much. I'll just have to go find some new videos to enjoy.

The NetVideoHunter app from Firefox is easy-peasy to use.

I have chrome on my Mac. Downloaded n installed VPL and it worked beautifully! jamh when I play a video, the green arrow appears. I click that green arrow n the video automatically downloads into my download folder. But I it didn't work on YouTube. Am using Vdownload app on my iPad for YouTube though. Rather a hassle coz hv to use Dropbox to transfer my videos rather than connecting iPad to PC. But hey my videos r saved. So that is good enough for me.

They way I look at it, is that Shimelle will produce new videos - in fact people produce new scrapping videos every single day, so I am going to let go of the ones on Twopeas instead of taking the time and frustration of trying to save them. It is a great resource that I am sad to see disappear, but I have faith that new ones will be coming out.

I'm going to have them playing for the next three days while I live my life. I figure I'll get my fill of them but I do hope they keep the channel up.

I have a mac. My Chrome wasn't working either, I think it may have been the AdBlock. So I used Firefox, (which I don't use anymore) and got their youtube video grabber. Then I went to the 2Peas video pages, and each of those videos (I was grabbing Shimelle's) are hosted on youtube. That finally worked. GOod luck, it is so frustrating. I had downloaded over 75 videos the first time before realizing that they wouldn't play.

I've been trying to download all weekend using various browsers & add-ons with no success. So, I feel your pain. I'm happy I was able to download my paid workshops. Like others have posted, I will be binge watching 2Peas videos till they take them down and look forward to discovering new videos to inspire me.

I downloaded my paid classes using chrome. The free ones have been trickier--figured out to add them to a list on youtube and then download. in between, my computer crashed. I think I am going to try to capture Thinking Inking (so many good tips ) and just a couple of Shimelle's and rely on all the other great freebies out there and my paid classes for entertainment. Maybe they won't take it down, but I assume they will and it will be sad, but I will move on.

I only downloaded the videos I paid for in classes. My computer isn't new and I'm worried about filling it up with videos that I have already seen. I hardly ever watch any video twice unless it is part of a class.
New youtube videos will be made and uploaded. I'll watch those when they come out.

Whatever video downloader I used from Firefox messed up my laptop. I had to bring it to the computer guy this morning. I'm pretty good usually at figuring out what's wrong but the problem was beyond my abilities. I'm taking that as a sign to just let the videos go. There will always be something new to watch.

I've watched a few but haven't downloaded any. Just seemed like too much hard work and, like others have said, I'm sure there will be lots of new inspiration to come.

I have a Mac, and Chrome worked for me, but I only saved my paid-for classes. I didn't try the YouTube ones. There's so many that I loved, from way back, but they would eat up so much space. I know that Jen and Shimelle make videos for other companies and/or their YT channel, so I figured I'd let the old ones go and look forward to the new ones. Loved Shimelle's baby album one

I keep going back and forth, do I want to attempt this, or not!
Gah, WHY can't twopeas just tell us, get the word out that they will leave the youtubes up and relieve us of this angst!?!!! So annoying. And what use would it be to delete the videos anyway? They are there already, I don't see why they just won't leave them.

I was totally frustrated when the app for Chrome people mentioned wouldn't work for me. (on a Mac) I would either get a black box, or get audio or video, but not both. I then tried a couple of the ones mentioned for Firefox and they didn't work for me either, but the YouTube Video Grabber finally did the trick. I did have to update both Firefox and Adobe to get it to work though, so if you are having problems, you might want to be sure you have updated to the latest version of whichever browser you want to use. It's literally one click and they download to my desktop. I've got about fifty downloaded so far! Yes, this may be a waste of time if the channel stays up, but I think 2Peas has given us more than enough reason to be suspicious that they wont' leave them, not the least of which is that they haven't said one word about it.

en.savefrom.net then go to "how to use" and option 4 is "browser add on". Takes two seconds to install and downloads in MP4 format. No viruses, no muss, no fuss, and will take about 1min per video you want.

I would happily pay for a copy of the Glitter Girl videos, if any has taken the time. LMK.

That's really interesting---I tried firefox too and my computer died, had to be wiped out and copied to another computer and then reloaded. I wonder if Firefox messed with it? I think I am done now too, will stick to the videos I paid for which I already saved.

I downloaded everything I wanted using a browser called Torch. There were no plug ins or add ons to use, the downloader is built into the browser. It did save two copies of every file (an .aac and an .mp4). I just went through and deleted the aac files and have no issues with watching my videos back through VLC media player.

I'm on a Mac and I used Firefox with their add-on "NetVideoHunter" and the instructions Javajones posted in another thread here. It worked great! Sometimes I had to start the video and let it play for a couple seconds to get the downloader to recognize it, but I was able to get all the videos from my paid classes and some of the YouTube ones. I checked the first 10 or so and they worked fine for playback. The downloads were super fast too.
So much inspiration about to be lost....
