I know that GG is property of twopeas but if I recall Shimelle had said that her paid workshops would always be available on her site? Anyone know? Thanks!

I am pretty sure the classes & workshops belong to 2Peas as well. There is forever access for classes purchased through Shimelle's websight.

Shimelle mentioned on her blog the content she did for 2Peas is owned by 2Peas. She's in the process of trying to figure out what's going to happen to it.

It would be too much to hope for that they just left the stuff up on Youtube at least the free classes. I will miss Glitter Girl. I know Shimelle can make more videos but with no one paying her I would understand if she doesn't make them - of course I know most of us would be willing to pay for them with the little budget we have left for this hobby.

One of the ladies on the FB groups posted directions on how to download videos to your computer. I just finished downloading both of Wilna's Art Classes and it worked well.
Use Chrome for your browser. Go to the Chrome Web Store (chrome.google.com/webstore/category/apps). Then search for "video downloader." Install the Video Downloader Pro, under the "Extensions" category, it's from startpage24.com. It installs a little video reel next to your address bar on the right hand side.
Then, open and play the video you want to save, the video reel turns into an arrow, click on that, and then select download. Voila! It worked like a charm for me. |

Help! I downloaded the video downloader pro and tried to save some videos, but when I try to play them, it's just a black screen and no sound. It shows the correct title and length of the video, and I can see that the time on the video is playing, but there's nothing to see or hear. How do I save them? Is it because I have an ad blocker?

I'm having the same issue, but I'm not running any ad blockers. I read in a Chrome forum that some people had luck turning off their anti-virus software while they downloaded, so you might try that. Let us know if it works!

I had to move to Firefox - didn't have luck in Chrome. Reading this, it might have been my anti-virus, but since Firefox is working, I'll just stick with it.

Regarding playback: play them back in VLC player, not windows media player! I too got an error with the Windows player.

Shimelle may be doing what Jen Gallacher is trying to do. Negotiate getting her videos. Check out Jen's blog if you haven't yet. She talks about the end of 2peas and her plans going forward.

I hope Shimelle gets her videos and is able to post them on her own. Just in case, I've downloaded several of them - I probably should save them all just in case.
I also hope she continues to do Glitter Girl to some extent. With a new baby and no compensation she might not but it sure would be nice!

I love to watch the glitter girl videos...I hope she's able to continue some videos on her youtube channel...she must be pretty busy with her new baby though.

I just read Jen Gallagher's blog.
I think I am going to go into my orders history and take screenshots of my class orders then if the ex GG's do get their stuff to be able to host elsewhere I will have proof that I was a bona fide paid up member of a class.
