I realised my YouTube channel was completely neglected. Last week I made a live colouring video and this week I made a process video. I hope you like it. It's my very first time doing something like this, so I hope it's all right. I'll learn as I go along, I swear. (the colouring video is on my channel if you want to see that too. link in sig) www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwJafEF_Jx4&feature=youtu.be

Thank you! I'm so glad you like it. I'm definitely *trying* to be busy, though it's not always easy. I have too many hobbies!

Cute card! I enjoyed watching your video. You have a nice voice that is very pleasant to listen to. Now I'm inspired to go make a card...

Oh its @aeryn Kelly! I haven't seen you lately. I will watch your live colouring video with my daughter who has just started collecting and colouring with Copics and report back. I always think of you as the Copic girl, so if you have any advice for a beginning Copic artist/colourer please let me know for her as I am uneducated in this area!
ETA it won't let me fix my tag so @aeryn Kelly ... I hope that works.

I'm so happy you guys like my video! Yay! I'm getting good feedback so I'm excited to try and make more. Impearia, I read through your thread and it looks like you got some pretty good advice and I'd just be re-stating things. I think a wallet for your daughter is a good idea, or perhaps the clear acrylic case that you could tape shut depending on how worried you are about little hands. And yes, definitely get her the Copic XPress It. It's super cheap on Amazon and it's worth the price. Just maybe tell her it's not printer paper, so try to sketch what she might not use on something else? I dunno. That's how I do my own artwork, anyhow. Crap paper sketches, then move to the good stuff when I'm sure. As far as classes, there's thousands of videos and stuff out there (with me now adding to the pool, cos why not) with information for just about every level and from crafters and artists alike so I'm sure she could sit down with some paper, put on a video, and colour right along with a bunch of people for hours. If you don't have *any* Copics there's nice sets that Copic is putting out, blending sets, where you'll get a nice little colour family right in one package. Super handy.

YES! I'm going to film one (hopefully) today or tomorrow and have it up for my Studio Monday. That's the plan anyway. Simce it's dark it will probably have to be tomorrow.
