I have always seemed to stick with the same cleaning products....Mr Clean for floors; Pledge for wood furniture; Windex for windows and I have been using Method Lavendar for countertops.
Was looking around at Target and saw Mrs. Meyers brand and other Method items and thought maybe I should expand my horizons.
So....what are your favorite cleaning products for wood, floors, countertops, etc.?

After seeing so many good tips on pinterest, I've gone back to basics. My cleaning kit includes ammonia, vinegar, baking soda, Barkeepers Friend, Murphy's Oil Soap, and hydrogen peroxide. It's so much cheaper, and gets the job done. I use Flylady purple rags for glass, so no window cleaner necessary.

I know it has a bad rap, but it smells so clean.

Lysol. orange or blue kind. I can't stand lemon scented cleaning products. I don't care if they are giving them away.
I make smash books and did a layout for the 100 words about me. LYSOL was one of my words.
I have Lysol wipes everywhere in my house.

I am not too brand specific except for Pledge furniture polish and Dawn dish soap. My other cleaning supplies can be any brand name or store brand which includes bleach, ammonia, vinegar, and cleanser.

I love anything with a lemon or orange scent! I use Fantastik for the kitchen, a bleach spray for the bathroom, just got sprayaway for glass.
I have tried ammonia to clean oven racks, but the smell is way to strong for me. Can you buy it in a diluted form in a spray bottle (like Lysol with bleach but instead Lysol with ammonia?) OK, that probably doesn't make sense! But I don't know if I could dilute it myself unless I did it outside. For some reason the "fumes" really bothered me, but I hear great things about cleaning with ammonia.

My favorite all purpose spray cleaner is Method pink grapefruit scent. I love things that are grapefruit scented! I also use a combo of clove oil and tea tree oil mixed with water for cleaning surfaces.

I love Method's wood floor cleaner so much that it makes me want to mop the hardwood! It smells like almonds!

We use the Williams Sonoma dish and hand soap, Simply Green and Windex, our own mix of vinegar and water for the Marmoleum flooring, and Murphy's Oil Soap for the floors and wood.

I use anything and everything. Although I have started using vinegar and water and a draft all purpose cleaner because I feel like they aren't as harsh. On the flip side, things might not be as sanitized as they should be.

I like Norwex cloths/window cloths, natural stuff like vinegar, baking soda, etc., Dawn dish soap, bleach. About the only commercial cleaners I buy would be Method (grapefruit scent), Lysol to clean when we're sick, and toilet bowl cleaner with bleach because we get hard water/rust stains.

I use Method's furniture polish. Although, I do prefer Pledge - everything is so much shinier with Pledge. For the weekly wood floor cleaning I use Method, and once a month I use a different brand (can't remember the name of it) brings back the shine.
I love the smell of lavender, the Dollar Store sells a lavender cleaning fluid which I'm using right now. I dump some in a squirt bottle and top up with water. I use this on the kitchen counters, tile floors and bathrooms. I also use bleach in the bathrooms (especially the boys bathroom). For the mirrors and stainless steel appliances it's just a damp microfiber cloth. Works great and zero chemicals needed.

I have been using Method Wood for Good furniture polish for years and love how it smells, but they changed the formulation awhile ago and I don't like it as well now. I also use Method Anti-Bac bathroom surface cleaner in the mint fragrance. For kitchen surfaces I generally use Method all purpose spray or a bottle of water with a bit of Dr. Bronner's soap mixed in. I have tried different cleaners in the kitchen sink and can't find anything that works as well as Clorox Clean Up spray to get it white again. For the bathtub I like Kaboom although the smell is horrible and I am sure it is bad for you. I generally try to keep things simple and natural, but when my MIL was here last summer she bought tons of cleaning supplies. I am trying to use them up but won't purchase them again. I like the idea of keeping things simple and not having a different cleaning product for each job in the house.

I love the Method products. Cleaning products tend to trigger asthma attacks for me, but Method is the only stuff I can use with absolutely no problems. (Except their mint smelling one- for some reason my lungs don't like that one!)

I use vinegar most of the time, but love Spic and Span, lemon Pledge, Pine Sol, Comet cleanser and Murphy's Oil Soap.

I've gone back to the basics. Vinegar, baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide. I do use an orange oil for my wood furniture, but that's the only cleaner I purchase.

One of my favorites is Mean Green from WalMart. A giant spray bottle cost $1.98 and man can that stuff cut grease. It is not for use on painted surfaces, I think because it must have a little oil in it. It is the best stuff I've ever found for hard surfaces like stove, tile, sinks etc.

What do you do with hydrogen peroxide?
What are you all cleaning your bathroom sinks with? Vinyl floors? (we have vinyl plank and mfgr states not to use vinegar on them - don't know why)

Sorry to hijack, but how do you like your marmoluem floors? And are they newer? I really want to install marmoluem because the colors are so pretty and it's more environmentally friendly than some other flooring.

I used to use Method, but switched to Mrs. Meyers because I thought it was easier no my hands. I prefer green cleaners.

I have to say yesterday I bought Method Wood for Good and tried it today and although the smell was ok, it took a LOT of buffing to get any sort of shine. Might be returning that. Also I got the Mrs Meyers honeysuckle all purpose spray and its a bit too flowerly. Might try to exchange for lemon!

We chose a grey and black checkerboard using 12 inch tiles. It is warm and soft. Plus, it's a natural product and you don't have the artificial off-gassing smell that you can get from plastic flooring.

(Except their mint smelling one- for some reason my lungs don't like that one!) Is the bathroom cleaner one? I can't handle that one at all! It says it's all natural with no harsh chemicals, yet the smell somehow irritates me far more than any other harsh cleaner. I thought I was weird.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mrs. Myers for my counter tops and top of stove. That is my newest one to try. Otherwise, Soft Scrub, Magic Eraser, Pledge, Comet.. the normal old stuff.
I tried to get on board with that Norwex stuff (is that what it is called?) but I need the smell of cleansers...

I feel (for me) it does absolutely nothing at all. Am I using it wrong? lol..
