Hi,
I have been treating myself to a Shimelle marathon and want to know the status of The Hitchhiker's Guide. I paid for it originally, but I don't remember if Shimelle got it back after TPs closed. I have messaged her but haven't heard anything.
I know Shimelle has been on a year-long maternity leave, but I hope she will come back with some new classes/videos.

I loved that class! Well, let's be honest; I love everything Shimelle has done. It will be interesting to see what direction she takes now that Wonder Boy is here. I miss her videos!

Personally I am a little annoyed that Shimelle orginially said she was working on hosting the Two Peas paid classes somewhere, but as far as I know, has not followed through. I get that she has a new baby, but if she is going to be a business, she needs to act like one. Sorry.

did she ever say she got the rights back to her classes? I know a couple of the Garden Girls mentioned that they did, but did they all automatically get them back??

The above link was from November, and she had said that the videos/classes would be up "soon". Maybe she was waiting to get CHA out of the way.

So many times scrappers take their hobby to the next level as a business but don't always treat it as a business. Look how often LSSs close because the owner was a scrapper with little to no knowledge of how to run a business. Or they hired friends that didn't know customer service. I hope Shimelle does come back and give her customers/followers what they want and/or paid for. It will be really good for the business  |

I don't begrudge her maternity leave at all and I truly hope she's enjoying this time. I think it would have been better to give some sort of timeline with regards to making the classes available again...even to say it will be in 6 months instead of leaving subscribers to wonder when it will happen. She kind of lost me when she went on that hiatus from 2 peas back in (I want to say) Oct-Nov 2013. It was right after they launched one her paid workshops that included instructor lead discussions. She dropped out and never came back. It was self paced so even if she started posting to that forum when she returned I wouldn't have been so bothered but she didn't.
