Thank you for the newest update.
Continued prayers for you & your DH. I'm sorry he's having a rough time of it his first go with chemo. And I'm glad they figured out what was causing the fluid in his lungs and disorientation.
((hugs))

So nice to see that the hospital staff is on it! You will have this confusion many times during the treatment of his cancer because each patient/cancer is different. I hope you got a notebook and wrote all this down because sometime in the future that could come handy.
I pray that Fred will beat this. It's very challenging to stay "sane" and "level headed" when dealing with something so threatening and so life changing. Do you remember what "normal" is? LOL. I sooo remember those days of learning new terminology and treatments and trying to keep it all straight in my head. Trying to decide what's best for DH when I had no idea what was what. Depending on people I didn't even know to decide what to do. It was so scary!
If you have any questions or just need to vent, we're here for you! ((HUGS))

Reading your post just brought back all those memories of helping my dad in hospital over the last few years. You quickly learn to make your self very knowledgeable of all the hospital units, procedures, medications, etc. Hospital life takes on a life of its own... My prayers are with you and your family - both for your husbands health - and for your family's sanity.

Thanks for the update, Jenjie. I am sorry he had such scary complications!
DH got very confused when he had an infection, so I know it's very frightening for you.
I am praying for Fred, and for you. I hope you are both home in your own bed tomorrow.

Jenjie - I am praying for you and your family. There's nothing more comforting than knowing that God has you and your family wrapped up in His strong capable hands.
Thank you for reminding me of that, while in the midst of your extreme pain.
I'll continue to pray for you and your DH.

Not the news you wanted to get but now you know what you're dealing with. Praying for you and Fred....miracles happen even with someone with aggressive cancer. I've seen it...
So..now to pray for Fred and you. I am sure you are scared beyond scared. But, God has you....I know He does.

I'm not sure how to validate you through your post, but I can extend my empathy. I am sorry that the outcome is what it is and hope he responds to treatment that gives you more time together.
