Well that's a crappy update. The good news is that you now have some answers and can come up with a plan to fight it. You and your family will be in our thoughts.

Adding my good thoughts. Chemo CAN kick cancer's ass and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works for Fred.

I can't believe how much you have been through recently. Please know you are in my thoughts. So much positive energy coming your way and to your husband. ((((Hugs)))) Thank you yes. Yesterday am I wrote up a timeline of all the dates of various appointments, tests and procedures. I started double checking dates with dh and started crying. Not because of dh but because of the way this is so intertwined with my dad's death. While dh was at the PCP for the first time, I got a text saying dad was in ICU. His first urologist appt was the day after the funeral. I'm glad that happened at home instead of at the doctor's office. But I want my focus to be on dh, not overshadowed by my dad. I know it doesn't make sense...

Aw, Jenjie, my friend, I'm so sorry. I have not forgotten how you were there for me when I needed it. I hope I can be in even a small way as much of a shoulder to lean on as you were to me. As you know--God is good and to be trusted. Elise <3 thank you

I'm so sorry to hear this. It is good that they're narrowing down the diagnosis, so that they can get to work kicking its ass. My thoughts are with your family!

jenjie, I am so sorry that your husband has stage 4 cancer. I take heart that the doctor sounds like the best possible help for your husband and that he thinks the cancer is more susceptible to being destroyed.
I will pray for your husband, you and your family. Hugs.

I am so sorry. Sending prayers your way. Remember that people are cured of cancer everyday and there is no reason that your husband will not be added to that list. It sounds like you have one of the best doctors that you could have in this kind of situation. You are in good hands, Gods and the doctors. (((HUG)))

You sound so brave! I cannot imagine what you've been through, and my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your dh. Life is so unfair sometimes and cancer is so indiscriminate... it could happen to any of us at any time. Keep positive and keep us posted, hugs!

Gosh Jenjie, that's hard news to hear and so much for you and your family to go through.
My dad was treated for cancer at UPenn and had only good things to say.
Sending up prayers for healing and comfort for all of you.

Many many prayers for your husband and your family now.
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you. when you walk through fire you shall not be burned and the flame will not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." Isaiah 43:1-3
