I have always been a fan of OPI. I have never tried Zoya, but I hear good things about it from the peas. If you have used both, which do you prefer? OPI stays on my nails for at least 3-5 days without chipping. I love the colors and how it goes on (the brush). My birthday is coming up in a week, and I want to go on a nail polish shopping spree for my birthday gift to myself. Point me in the right direction....and who has the best prices?
Thanks

I was all about OPI for years then switched to Zoya a couple years ago because it's safer ingredients. Both chip off my nails easily.

i have used both. I only paint my toe nails. I bought some Zoya with one of the super specials they have. There was a pink that I bought that I really loved the color. Well, it faded to almost nothing in a day or two. I thought it was a fluke because I had been in the sun a lot; although I had never had that happen with OPI in the same sun. I tried the polish again about 3 more times. It faded in a day or two. I threw away my Zoya and stick with OPI now. Actually, I think I do still have some of my Zoya but what I have would be used for a special occasion, not for everyday wear so I don't really care how long it lasts.

For me, the fact that OPI is not vegan, while Zoya is, is the reason I fazed out my OPI and have switched. I like it just a much as OPI. I don't remember where I ordered, but it was a good deal - free polishes and remover. It's been posted here several times.

Zoya lasts longer for me. I do prefer the OPI brush, though.

Zoya has a wider variety of colors, but always chips within 2 days on me. I can get 4 to 5 days before chipping with OPI.

I've used both, plus Essie and a couple other brands, but have bought mostly Zoya in the last couple years. I only paint my toenails, but I've had very good wear with the Zoya. I've never had a color fade on me, as a previous poster mentioned.

Zoya is better for me, hands down. And I hate their wide brush. Here's a real-life story, though: I painted my sisters nails with 3 polishes last week: 1 OPI and 2 Zoya. The nails where the OPI is at the tip all chipped within a day or two. The nails with Zoya at the tips are all still good.

I have small nailbeds so I prefer the Zoya brush, plus I love the bottles, but I don't have much preference between the two. Zoya doesn't always play nice with Seche Vite, but it does fine if I use my special proprietary blend of 50/50 SV and NYC GCS (Grand Central Station,a clear fast drying tc). IMO no one does glass fleck or greens like Zoya. OPI excels at cremes and silly names. I can't pick a favorite!

They behave about the same for me.
But I think Zoya has a depth to many colors Opi does not have. Their shimmers are subtle but amazing, if that makes sense.

Zoya usually lasts 4-5 days on my fingers. OPI usually lasts 2 days max.

They both behave and wear the same for me.
I can go a week with no chips with both as long as I have my SV base coat and top coat.
I have more OPI bc I prefer to buy nail polish in person and stores here carry a wider range of OPI than Zoya.
I'm also a huge fan of China Glaze.

I actually think that Essie wears a little better for me, but the color selection is not as good (they do have several that I like, but not as many as Zoya and OPI). I think I need a different top coat to use with my Zoya. I use SV and it seems that my Zoya polishes start to peel off after a few days.

I only do my toes but Zoya, then Essie and then OPI. The Zoya on my toes can last 2-3 weeks.
