anything in January.
I don't think I got anything done. I had some health issues that occupied my mind for most of the month. Even now my mojo is lacking.
How about you?

I have created some cards but to be honest I had a hard time getting back into the swing of things after Christmas. I've got my mojo back and have lots of cute cards and gift packaging ideas to share with y'all. The latest card I shared was this Birthday Bow card. I'm recording a process video today showing you how I made the card and will have it up later today.

Being at a convention I would think you will come home full of ideas and your mojo over flowing. Hope you are having a great time. And you tell us all about it when you return home.

Thanks Oldcrow! I caught that "dine" as my message left the screen. My friend comes up once a week to scrap or make cards. That helps keep me going. We no longer have a place to go for crops. I really miss them. I'm glad I have her, but I miss the group crops.

All I did was some thank you notes for Christmas gifts--and I made DD help! LOL, I couldn't believe how many trips I made up and down the steps between my under construction studio and the kitchen where we were working because I kept forgetting stuff. Three more days until my shelves go in, and then the fun will really start when I start going through boxes that have been packed since before we moved (some for over three years!). I'm excited and horrified at the same time by how much junk there is to sift through!

I had a very product January! I made a ton of cards and a couple scrapbook pages. I also finally started doing the Mojo Monday sketch challenges which I have always wanted to do but never made a priority. I have done the challenge 3 weeks in a row which is amazing or me as I am not known or my powers of consistency!

my creativity has gone on a vacation for several months...
One reason is since last Jan. Sprint has changed our getting on here so I can not watch YouTube anymore unless I go in town to the library.
I download a project there...but it is not the same...can't do classes either here...

I'm having a hard time getting back into scrapping actual layouts. I've been focusing mainly on card making, and have made several this year so far. I always enjoy making cards, but miss the creative process of a layout, especially the journalling. I've promised myself that I'm going to get back to my DD Robyn's album. We lost Robyn almost 4 years ago, and I had started an album for her, starting from her birth, through childhood and intending to go on to her adult years. Unfortunately, I hadn't finished it, and she never saw it. I've shown my DGD what I have done so far, and promised her that when I'm done, I will give her mother's album to her. It's just really hard to create pages for someone who is no longer here, especially when they were so dearly loved, and are so sorely missed. I'm going to just have to tell myself to get started and then I think it will be easier to continue.
