to start talking about December Daily?  Usually I wait until August to start planning and thinking and looking......but this year there are so many pretty options and sparkly things, especially the MME vellum papers. Maybe this year I start in July.....  |

 I was thinking about this yesterday. We might go to Universal Studios for "Grinchmas" this year and I starting wondering if I could do a Seuss-inspired DD this year!

I'm all about being in the holiday mode..I'm knee deep in Halloween swaps right now. Plus my baby is due end of October so I need to wrap it all up by October.
Please elaborate more on the new holiday paper. MME vellum?? Links please.
I'm going to open up the December Daily journal book swap at our Facebook swap group, where us swappers migrated to, very soon.

ha-ha!!! Well since last year's DD basket is still sitting out, waiting to be finished - I guess I need to be thinking about it! I have been saying every week - we're *this many* weeks 'til Christmas!
I guess I'll start thinking about finishing last year's in September when it starts to feel fall-ish and then start in on this year's in November. I'm in Halloween mode in October.

*giggle* Halloween? What's that? I still need to post the rest of last year's DD onto my blog, and was thinking about doing it on July 25th, like a Christmas in July post.
Jenettycakes, you have some very exciting things happening! Congratulations! MME hasn't released their holiday lines yet, but the vellums that are in the Necessities collection are beautiful! And I'm talking in all exclamation points! lol I'm going to go ahead and grab some before they are gone. What does your FB swap group do for DD? Sounds like fun.....

Annie, it is the ONLY Christmas thing I will talk about before November. And it is only because I start collecting my PP and embellies, and putting my album together. I can't say the same for my Christmas shopping or decorating. LOL!

As for swap, I was one of the frequent hostesses from the swap board and once 2 Peas went kaput, we scrambled and did a pretty darn good job of having many 2 Peas swappers join our Facebook group, Two Peaa Swap Chat The December Daily swap is basically 12 pages that each sign up for and create/decorate, usually 5x7, that in return, you get a complete DD album/mini journal. I love them and am usually in several groups.  |

jenettycakes76 exciting news. I'll keep my eye on the Swap Chat group for the DD swap, if I get further along in my home renovation to join, it sounds like fun. If not I'll have to join the DD happenings on the board closer to December. As the only Christmas projects (layouts, minibooks) are pre 2008. This year 2 of the animals got a layout. Not the kids, the animals. What's wrong with me? lol. So need to get with it when it comes to Christmas.

I saw DD's posted last year and loved the idea. This year I am going to work on one with my daughters. I think it will give us something positive to focus on instead of dreading our first Christmas without my husband the whole month.
Please post photos for inspiration! I would love to see what some of you have done.
