Good morning ladies!! Happy Hump Day!! I'm looking forward to the weekend! We're having a couple of couples over for a Mexican night themed game night. And we're having our taxes done Saturday morning, which means our return should be in by the end of the month. You know, just in time to shell out $3500 for DS's braces. Breakfast this morning was 2 pieces of whole wheat toast with reduced fat pb, a banana and coffee. I'm not sure what lunch will be. Dinner is chicken stir fry with brown rice. I have to pick my kiddos up at 1:30 today because my ds has an ortho appt. I believe we're going to be setting up the appt that is right before braces being put on. He has an overbite that needs to be fixed before they can put his braces on...and the last time we were there, the ortho said the next time he saw him it would be just to make sure all his teeth were in completely and then they were going to get him ready for the braces. Cha-ching!! DS hates all the braces/space maintainers stuff...hopefully he'll appreciate it later in life. LOL I hope you ladies all have a great day!

Morning!!
SO glad we escaped the braces deal with all three of ours....yikes!
Breakfast today is a shake. Lunch? Not so sure. Dinner will be meatloaf as requested by the kids.
Last night was off the rails for me. I went to my monthly cake guild meeting, and the sponsors for last night were two cake mix companies - one gluten free, one not. So the head of our chapter baked both, plus a third mix and two scratch (one a healthy recipe) for us all to try.
I kept my slivers small, but I did try them all! Got my chocolate fix for the next month....LOL

Good morning!
I am SO BUMMED today! I made a really awesome dinner last night. I got my spiralizer in the mail, so I made zucchini "spaghetti" with spinach, artichoke hearts, chicken sausage with a little feta and pine nuts. I was planning on having the rest of it for lunch today but I forgot my lunch bag at home! Grrr. I had my breakfast: egg cups w/ham & avocado and My snack: deviled eggs w/bacon.
I'm on my company's team to do the MS150 (a charity ride from Houston to Austin), and we have private spin classes today, so I don't even have time to go home. Normally I would just skip the class, but attendance has been low, so I want to go to help keep the classes going.
Regardless, I'm still on track with my diet LOL!

I'm having cactus with shredded chicken and onion with a little bit of rice for lunch today. Yummy! Now dinner is going to be difficult, as we are going to a recruiting event and straight to the Purdue vs. Ohio State basketball game. Not great selections. If hubby has time on the way, he may stop and get us a Subway sub. Beats the concession stand food I suppose.

Good morning. I spent time at the gym and am working on endurance on the treadmill. I can now do 2 miles in 30 minutes at a slow jog/ walk pace.
I am going out to lunch and think it will be salmon for dinner. I have to hit the store this afternoon.

Good morning everyone! My DD is counting down to when her braces come off; should be a couple of months. I had a good lower body workout this morning. I went up in weights with all exercises, so I expect to be a bit sore tomorrow. I was pretty good with food yesterday. Today, I've had an amino drink and a protein shake post-workout, and then scrambled egg whites, turkey bacon, and oatmeal for breakfast. Lunch will be chicken with black bean chili, and berries. Dinner, not sure yet. Maybe tilapia or soup.
Let's all get moving and have a great day!

Well, my company is gone and weigh-in is tomorrow. I have no idea what the scale will read, but I am determined that whatever it shows, I am just going to let it be what it is and just keep my head up and looking forward. I did try to make good decisions, but there were times I had no idea how to calculate points, so I estimated and hate doing that. I made chili and we have been eating that - it's good on points, and I'm eating the veggies and fruit today. My mom is coming next week, so it's going to be difficult all over again, but she's also trying to lose weight, so that will help some...and we will be shopping a lot, so there's that too. Brandy - I did my taxes last Thursday, and my refund is scheduled to be in my account by Friday, so I imagine yours will be back within a week or two. Have a great Wednesday everyone!!

Pretty good day. I tend to eat the same all week for breakfast and lunch so nothing new. Tonight, I recreated last night's egg/avocado sandwich while the kids had leftovers. It's crazy how many leftovers we had just from the weekend so I needed to get them eaten.
I've decided I'm not going to weigh myself for a couple of weeks. I think I'm just getting too wrapped up in the number and I'm not focused on the process. I'm hoping to get myself out of this funk I've been in and make some progress.

I finally broke down and rejoined weight watchers. I have done it in the past and had good luck, but was trying to avoid paying. I just need the extra accountability. I also joined our community center. It isn't the greatest, but will get me through the winter. I have a friend that is going so we are going to try and meet up at least once a week.
I am struggling with the points right now. I am not an eat the same thing everyday sort of person so it is a lot of figuring and refiguring and then throwing it all out and starting over! I know that once I get in a groove it will be better.

Is it ok if I join the group? I am really struggling. Why is it so hard to make good choices and change habits? (Insert whiny voice). I am in my car all the time for work and eat in my car as well. I am horrible at bringing food and eating it if I do bring it. I think I need to re-think my idea of what a proper lunch is. I'm not sure what my method to losing weight is going to be, but I need to do something.
I am not sure
