I received my yearly performance appraisal from my boss last week. She wrote a 4-page single-spaced narrative for my review. I got a perfect score in all the metrics. I asked her (as I always do) in which areas she felt I could improve or do my job more efficiently, and she said that it was a joy to work with me and she considered me to be her right-hand person, and to just keep doing what I do. I told her I appreciated her very much and well, I'm really satisfied. I always worry that I'm not doing enough or that I could do something MORE or BETTER, so I was pleased.
I just wanted to brag a bit. Thanks for reading. And, for letting me brag.  |

Good for you! If all bosses were as willing to give a deserved pat on the back to hard working employees there would be a huge jump in productivity. Enjoy knowing your hard work is appreciated.
