I posted something and it has like 36 images/pages. (mini-album) Now on one hand, I was thankful I could put the entire mini on there and all the pages. On the other hand, for some strange reason, it allows people to leave comments on ANY of the pages. I got four comments but I have to click through all 36 pages to see them! That shouldn't have been set up that way. Two Peas interface was so much cleaner and well-designed than scrapbook.com. Even the forums are a bit strange to me as you have to hit reply to someone else's comment. I am thankful for them allowing me to upload my gallery so those are petty complaints. Just missing Two Peas and feeling the days count down until it's gone.

I don't know if this is a "pie in the sky" idea but don't you think it could be possible to sell 2Peas website w/o the store? I guess since there's not a store attached it would have to have a subscription fee attached which could cause website to fail. Just brainstorming ideas where we don't lose all the content that's on the site.

Well surely they considered selling any part of it before giving up.
Maybe scrapbook.com's website was created before things were so streamlined online. They need Jeffrey White to retool their design!

2Peas' gallery was revolutionary and very innovative! I admit, I totally thought about trying to buy the 2Peas website about 10 seconds after I saw the message board locked and knew they were closing. However, I didn't think I could make it viable, living in Canada and having the expense of shipping and importing goods, and I don't think 2Peas would be 2Peas without the store/Garden/gallery.

Wow. A really awesome live music venue/restaurant closed here recently and my husband played there all the time. We spent a long time going, "How can we buy it and keep it open? " We just couldn't take the risk financially. I can't even imagine what Two Peas closing has done to the Whites financially. I'll venture to say it's not pretty.

I think any kind of retail is hard at the moment, especially when it involves discretionary spending.

Tracie, I saw your mini-album this morning and thought it was adorable. I wasn't logged in at the time so I pinned it so I could remember it for later. You will find that people will often comment only on a particular spread of the album on scrapbook.com, especially if you have product identified.

I have been totally slack in maintaining a gallery anywhere other than a private NING ring that is not accessible by most. I am going to make an effort to do a gallery at Scrapbook.com. But I am not sure if I want to import my gallery there or just start from scratch and do only new stuff. I find both the gallery and forum a little awkward to navigate, but I am sure I will get used to it eventually. Glad to finally figure out where everyone has gone. I was going through withdrawals.

There are things I like better at 2Peas and things I like better at Scrapbook.com (can we make an acronym for them too - maybe SB.com ?) I like on SB.com, when I look at my gallery, right under every LO, it tells me how many views, comments, favorites and votes I've gotten, without having to look at each one individually. I like the categories on the forums - they have separate ones for Cricut, Knitting/Crochet, Sewing/Quilting, etc. I also like that there is a sketch gallery But there it just feels different and looks different. I'm sure in time I will get use to it. I'm so glad they made it easy to save our gallery there, too bad we couldn't save our bookmarks the same way but that is alright.

Personally I have always liked the scrapbook.com gallery better than 2peas.
To me it is more logical, better laid out, and easier to like and comment on projects.

Scrapbook.com has purchased lots of scrap stores. one was scrap jazz. they also purchased the 1st online store I think too & others. I was surprised they didn't buy peas but maybe they didn't want to sell to the competition.
