Family stages kidnapping to teach 6yo a lesson

Indeed. That not one of them stopped and went "hold on a second... is this really the best way to do this?". It blows my mind that no one thought this was a bad idea.

My reading of the article has the Aunt as the instigator, it's her co-worker that got involved. I wonder if she is a "strong" personality?

I thought it was going to be something like they picked him up and took him home and yelled at him but holding him at gunpoint and taking off his pants? shaking my damn head. And all because he's too KIND to people. What a bunch of trash.

eeek.  I had this done to me, but we were teenagers and walked a lot after dark.  My friends father had his friend pull up to us and dragged us into the car, where my friends father said--see how easy that was, you want to remember that.  It made an impression and we were more careful after that, but a 6 year old--too young and too tramatizing--and for 4 hours! who are these parents


Wow I just finished reading the article--OMG!!! that child is going to be in therapy for a long time after that.  

They need to be taught a lesson, POS! How about someone stages a beheading? I'd laugh at them in shame.

I'm absolutely mortified.  This had nothing to do w/a lesson and everything to do w/a group of monsters severely destroying a child.  He will have PTSD and lifelong scars.  They all need to be charged w/the maximum penalty for cruelty to a minor, sexual abuse and kidnapping at the very least.  He needs to be fostered/adopted into a safe, loving family who will help him learn to trust and feel safe amongst his loved ones, once again.   I don't believe for a 2nd that they weren't a group of psychopaths getting a kick out torturing him.  I wonder if drugs were involved, but at the same time I don't care.  Let 'em all rot in prison and for goodness sake, don't ever let any of them breed.  MORTIFIED!

It is reAlly too bad that being stupid doesn't hurt. Because these idiots deserve to be in a world of hurt.

I cannot imagine the emotional trauma this child endured and now is in protective custody. I hope there are mental health professional working with him. This event has changed the trajectory of his life.

That poor child. I hope there's some justice served. I just have no words.

This is so fucked up. I hope this was worth it to the parents. And I hope that kid isn't permanently traumatized from this.

I can't comprehend how so many people could work together to do something like this. Just horrifying, that poor boy.

I am glad he found the courage to tell someone, and I hope he gets fostered into a lovely family.

ok...HOLY MOTHER F**K! I hate these people for doing that! What assholes. This brings back fond memories for me. My "dad" (I use that term loosely) did something similar to me as a child. I was walking home from school & a big blue convertible car was following about a block behind me with 4 men in it yelling at me that they were going to grab me & kill me. I started running & I could hear their engine rev up then they would speed up to me then stop & laugh. I'd take off running & they did it over & over for about 6 blocks. I didn't realize that one of those men were my father. I was so scared & I was crying & running. I hate him to this day for that. The car wasn't his, it happened to be a new car of one of his friends. They were out taking it for a spin & saw me, then thought it'd be funny to scare the shit out of me. I feel for that 6 year old boy. I think I was about 10.
