Do you subscribe to a favorite? Which one? Do you consider it a good value? I'm thinking of subscribing, but am looking for one that will help motivate me to scrapbook on a regular basis - not just more supply collecting? Thanks,

i subscribe to Scraptastic. Each month I usually get the main kit (she offers 2) and the add on. This month I'd like to get all of them!
You usually get 6-8 pieces of patterned paper and 3 pieces of matching cardstock, with an alpha and various embellishments (enamal dots, flags, etc). You also get 3 flair and wood veneers.
I've been subscribing for a year now and just recently got my free kit! (Buy 12 and the 13th is free!)

Over the years I've subscribed to Cocoa Daisy, Studio Calico scrapbook & card kits, Simon Says Stamp, and others that are no longer in business. I think kits are great but you need to discipline yourself to actually use them and not let them accumulate like I did. I still have kits from years ago that I've never touched other than to unkit them and organize the products. Any of the kits I subscribed to and that are still around, in my opinion, are great.

I currently subscribe to Embellish It. $20 a month and you can view and select alternate kits if you don't care for the primary. They are mostly paper kits (which I like, I am picky about my embellishments...don't want paper clips, ribbon or floss for example). The kits come with color copies of suggested layouts and printed step by step instructions if you want them. They are generous kits with plenty of paper, cardstock and some doo-dads (die cut packs, decorative brads, etc.) There are also card kits. She sends them out every other month (so you get two at one time.)

I subscribe to Cocoa Daisy's Main Kit, and tend to also add the PL kit and/or an add-on.
Their own papers are exquisite but the pictures don't do it justice.
They are the best at customer service, in my opinion, and go above and beyond for their subscribers.

I subscribe to Scrapscription - LOVE them! They send a mini-album kit each month with directions. You can then do the album, or you could use the kit supplies for any other project you might want to do.

I've belonged to Cocoa Daisy for a few years now. I no longer receive their main kit, but rather the Day in the life kit which better suites the way I scrapbook these days. The kits really fit my style and I'm always happy with them.

I used to sub to studio calico and Scraptastic but earlier this year cancelled studio calico. Scraptastic is more my style and a much better value.
You can choose from 2 kits each month and they are packed. You get 6 patterned papers and 6 cardstock (2 each of 3 colors) and loads of embellies in the main kit. There are exclusive die cuts, cut aparts from ormolu, flair, and wood veneer each month. There are stamps designed to coordinate as an extra purchase which is perfect for me since I don't stamp often. The stamp sets are full 4x6 sets also.
I also get the freckled fawn embellies kit, but am thinking about canceling it.i like it, but just am thinking of cutting back for a bit.
It was always such a fight to get add ons for studio calico and the main kits just seemed like they were always really thin.

I get the Freckled Fawn kit. It's just embellishments - no paper - but I think the embellishments are so cute and use-able that they motivate me to scrap.

Use to get Cocoa Daisy. they have great kits.
I'd like to join a new kit club later this year, but want one that doesn't do their own exclusives - stamps, papers, diecuts etc. I've thought about Freckled Fawn as I have enough patterned paper for several more years. lol

Thanks for the ideas everyone. I've toyed with the idea of a kit but just don't think I'd use the contents every month so I'd accumulate another big mountain of stuff in my craft room. Like the idea of an embellishment kit, though.

That's been me for the last 3 months or so. Too much Studio Calico brand, not enough variety, not a great value for the money. Should have switched over months ago. *sigh* Their Project Life kit, however, is still a good value and top quality.
Switched over to Scraptastic. More product. More variety. No more fighting over stuff. They send out descriptions of the kits before they do the full reveal all throughout the month (so nice!!) and you get a choice of kits.

I've been frozen most of this year but once I'm done I plan on joining Scaptastic to keep my spending in check. The kits seem to fit my style the best and I like that you get a choice in main kits.

I used to get Scrapbook Generation Super Saver club kit and absolutely loved it. Then I took a break and got Gossamer Blues PL kit and loved that one too.
Since I haven't been scrapping much lately I don't subscribe to any at the moment.

I subscribe to Studio Calico off and on. I really like their kits, I just get a huge backlog and stop for a time (I won't say how many I still have )

I joined Hip Kit Club a couple of months ago and really feel like I get good value. Same with Studio Calico.

No embellishment? We have six different clubs, so I'm sharing this link as the easiest way to answer. The Super Sketch Club is by far the most popular -- it's mainly paper, but does have an embellishment, which is almost always a 12x12 sticker sheet or an ephemera pack. Hope this helps! I finally just stopped all kits. Embellish it was the last one for me. Loved it though. For the past 2 months, I have just been pulling all of the kits from all of the kit clubs and putting them together. I think if I was faithful about doing them I would sign up again, but I let them stack up so much. I can't recommend kits unless you do them immediately! Embellish IT is nice, but sometimes limited in what you can do. Four double page spreads every other month and almost all product is used. A lot of the kits I have gotten, I have just broken down and sorted out to be used as I see fit-product based, but not layout based.

I use to subscribe to Little Red Scrapbook, not sure if they are in business any longer. I know they switched owners a long time ago. Loved their coordinated kits. My last subscription was to Button Farm. They are pricy but very good quality. I just could not keep up with their kits. I do not have too much time to scrap during the school year.
