From about 2002-2007 I was a quite talkative member of the about.com/scrapbooking forum. We had gotten to the point that we had t-shirts made yearly as well as several forum crops. Then I stopped scrapping for a while, and when I came back like a year later, the forum had died. So I moved over and started using my twopeas account (which I cant even remember when I made it, just that I already had one when about.com/scrapbooking had closed). I never really participated at twopeas. I read NSBR daily and I enjoyed doing scrapping challenges when I had the time. Anyways...this is now my 3rd start on a scrap forum.  Anyone here from that old about.com forum?? Anyone been transplanted more than once? |

I'm European, and haven't been on other American message boards, but three message boards here have been shut down whileI have been a member there. I wonder if I'll kill this board too.

sort of... I wandered over to 2peas from the cricut message boards in the past few years. Although they are still there, they are pretty dead. No one that's on there does much scrapbooking either, so not much inspiration.

I was very active on CK and visited 2peas only a little, more for the gallery. Then CK shut down and most of us moved to a private mb...that didn't work out for many of us, so I jumped back in on 2peas.

It's weird how boards are so busy, then pfffft. I never thought it would happen to 2Peas, but boards were dragging a bit.

I was on a Simple Scrapbooks mb many years ago. Then when the CK mb shut down a lot of people from there went to the SS mb, which caused a bit of drama. So somebody created a private mb for SSMB'Originals'. I was active there (was a lot of fun), but one year my computer crashed, I lost all my bookmarks, and was never able to find my way back to the private board. I was mostly a lurker on 2Peas, but maybe I'll be more active now.

Yup. I started out on AOL's scrapbook board. Then moved to 2peas when it underwent a transition that made it unreadable (quite literally!)

For me it was a bunch of Yahoo Groups for swapping. I never went back after I discovered 2Ps

I was on the old About.com scrapbook board and on Lifetime Moments so this is my third time as a refugee ....I had a twopeas account from 2002 but didn't really even lurk much until after Lifetime Moments shut down

I think I started on 2Peas and then joined CK but I am not sure maybe it was the other way around. I stopped posting on there much toward the end. I was always more of a pea.

I was on TwoPeas and Lifetime Moments until LM shut down. Then it's been 2Ps and a little SC and SplitCoastStampers. But my home for the last 10 yrs or so has been the Pod.

Started at Jangle and DMarie many years ago. Moved over to Stampin' and Scrappin' for a long time 'til that went under and the refugees there started ScrapShare. But been on TwoPeas for a lot of that time too! I am not one that sticks to just one forum.

I used to be very active at Memory Makers message boards and then they stopped publishing. Also dabble a bit over a CK boards, mostly just around convention times.
I am somewhat active on a private board that is slowly dying. We had about 40-50 active members BUT now only about 10 on a good day. What is crazy is two of our members have died in the last 6 months! Since we were also FB friends we had notification of their deaths and were able to send condolences to their families.
So I guess I am on my fourth board for Scrapbooking?
So glad that someone stepped up to do this!
