I realize this post is worthless without any pictures, but I *promise* to post some once I can get to my computer again to upload them. That said, my custom shelves were installed today and they are a thing of beauty! I am finally, FINALLY at that place with my studio where I should have been almost three years ago when we moved into this house. WOO HOO, I can finally UNPACK MY STUFF! They put in 26' of wall shelves over my new cabinets downstairs, and I can almost imagine having all of my stuff unpacked and organized in my neat, new, FUNCTIONAL space!
Now comes the hard work of sifting through all my stuff and deciding what goes, what stays, and how to organize it all. I can't even describe how I feel right now because I've been so frustrated and stuck for so long and now I can finally move forward and actually DO something! I'm going to get to SCRAP again! I'm going to get to SEW again!
The installers just left, and not only do I have all of my studio storage done, but I have an awesome new mud room as of today too.
It really is a pretty great day!
