I scrap 8 1/2 x 11 primarily so I was excited to find a new to me YouTube channel this week. Anyone else watch kateroar? Her style is pretty clean and the videos are nice and short to watch. I've gotten a ton of new ideas for her videos. Thought I'd share my new inspiration.

Thanks for sharing her video, I enjoyed it. Does anyone know why she uses (I think) a metal die on top of her embellishment areas? I think she's just weighting them down to adhere better, but she centers it so I thought there might be a deeper meaning behind it.

Thanks for sharing. I scrap 8.5x11 too, and appreciate any helpful ideas. I loved watching her videos.

I'd love to switch to that size, but can't get the albums or page protectors anywhere in Australia. It was the most popular size when I started scrapping in 2001, but they're non existent these days.

I'm an 8 1/2x11 scrapper always in search of ideas. While I draw inspiration from a lot of the 12x12 layouts shared it's so nice to actually see someone share ideas in my size. I enjoyed the videos. TFS!

Happy to skate the videos! SuPeaNatural, i sometimes just get the 8 1/2 x 11 page protectors from an office supply store. Those might be easier for you to find.

It seems harder! This weekend I went to a retreat and I scrapped an album of pictures of early teen years from 1970-71, and I could not have gotten it done if I didn't scrap 8.5 x 11. I have gotten so many more pages done since I switched back to 8.5 x 11. I also get my photos done in 2x3 instead of 4 x 6 when I get current photos printed and it gives me so much more page real estate.
