I wanted to post this just in case anyone on here has used Turbo Tax to do their state tax and might be worried about any delay in receiving a refund. I filed ours last Thursday and Turbo Tax stopped processing all state taxes on Friday. I think that they have since returned to filing them. I assumed that it would take forever to get our refund back. However, I filed last Thursday afternoon(electonically) and the money is in our account today. It has not been delayed at all.

We filed the 28th of Jan, it was accepted on the 29th and we still do not have our refund. Today is business day #10 and yup still nothing.
So yea...

I suspect it will also depend on what state you are filing. Not all of them had issues.

I suspect it will also depend on what state you are filing. Not all of them had issues. I am in Georgia and that is one that stopped accepting the Turbo Tax returns the day after ours was accepted. We have had the same address, same informarion for the past few returns, so maybe that had something to do with it. I was surprised to get it so soon, especially with GA being one of the states to stop taking Turbo Tax returns. I believe that they have started accepting them again. I think that this is the fastest it has ever been processed. |
