I have spent the last few days painting walls and stripping windows, and lifting carpet in the spare room , in preparation for the carpet layer coming on Monday at 9am. Friday evening about 8:30 .....I made the decision to get my scrap room carpeted as well. I have spent three hours unloading the room of scrap stuff. And the last hour and a half stripping the varnish off the window so it can be re done. I have yet to paint the walls, and tomorrow ( Sunday) I have a prior commitment for most of the day.....and also have to work in the morning 5am to 9am
Yup up hubby was right.....Ive bitten off more than I can chew!!!! Ah well. Where there's a will there's a way.
sleep is over rated anyway !!!!

Good for you! Think of how nice it will be when you're finished. Good luck getting it all done.

You should think of it as short term pain for long term gain. I'm sure your room will look wonderful when it is done.

We put in wood floors and my scrap room with 10 pieces of furniture and the closet with floor to ceiling storage had to be moved in one evening. We painted after midnight. Would not plan to do t that way again, but I am so glad it is done! You won't remember the lack of sleep as much as you will enjoy the new flooring.

You weren't wrong. You just were not as right as you could have been!
Enjoy that fresh, new room!

I'm still plugging away, sorting everything out. I threw out some furniture which means I have to find somewhere to store the stuff that was in there DOH
It's getting there slowly......certainly not as clean and tidy as lots of rooms I have seen on the net. I'm making do with furniture I have, even though I would love to change the colours of the shelving etc it not going to happen. Have one huge mountain of paper to sort through and gift to my daughter who is just starting out on her scrappy journey. ...plus a huge amount of tools etc that she will get first dibs on. I'm sure she will love the cricut and all its carts and I'd rather see someone have it who will use it than sell it on for a pittance.
This time next week I hope to be completely sorted. It's a long process isn't it? I guess if I had just been putting everything back in the same place it would be easier......but I figure it's time for a change.....

I hope you didn't confess that to your husband!! Projects usually tend to grow as we work on them
