Thanks for the reviews, ladies. i was afraid to buy any because they were shrink-wrapped and I couldn't tell the weight.

Here are the beads I made with the Dear Lizzy & Crate Paper paper. I posted more photos on my blog if anyone wants to see some better close ups.

I had to pay $11.99 when I bought might (earlier in the month). So sorry I missed your post - I would have gone back for the Dear Lizzy collection. I think the paper weight is great for cards. Have already used some of it for scrapbooking.

Thank you for the compliments! I like to make paper beads, but I have no idea what I'm going to do with any of them just yet.

Those are adorable. Very nice work. They don't look at all like paper to me.
You could make necklaces or bracelets, string them horizontally on stretchy cord to make bracelets

These paper packs are on sale for $7.00 at Michaels. I missed out on the cheaper price but $7.00 is still a good price.

While our child attended a practice yesterday, I strolled through nearby craft stores. These Crate Paper, Amy Tangerine, Dear Lizzy, & Maggie Holmes packs - which once occupied an entire kiosk, but now fills only a couple shelves on one side - were marked on sale for $5.99/each. HTH

These were in the ad this week for $7 and my local store actually had them for $5.99. I ended up with 3 of the 4, not bad with a $5 off coupon.

I had bought one of the $5 packs a while back. On Saturday I saw some 12x12 pads for $7 in the same area. Crate paper boy pad. I picked one up and it rang up for $5.99 Since most of my scrapping is boy related I thought $7 was a good price. $5.99 was even better! The 8.5x11 packs I will use for cards.
