Amy Tangerine and Maggie Holmes! A huge package of 8.5x11 paper from all three designers.
My first thought was, "Is this cheaply made one-sided paper?"
I'm dying to get some but I'm afraid it will be flimsy and I'll be mad.
I'm sleepy so now I'm questioning myself on whether or not it was 8.5x11 but I'm 99% sure it was.
Has anyone bought one of those? It said, "regular $19.99 - special buy this week $5." I scrap 8.5x11 so it's fine by me but I HATE thin paper.
UPDATE: WENT BACK TODAY, 7/13, AND THE PRICE IS BACK UP TO $19.99!

I bookmarked for the first time! I can't get to michaels until after work tomorrow. Are you saying that this is one paper pack with paper from all three designers? I may not care if they are thin.

Nope. It was one HUGE package of Amy's and one HUGE package of Dear Lizzy and one HUGE package of Maggie Holmes! Like really thick package but pretty sure it was 8.5x11 unless I dreamed that part. Please tell me!

I have them, all 3 sets and they are 8-12 x 11 in size and they are one of M's hot buys (always $5).
I don't think the paper is thin--say as thin as the Recollections single sheets, but it is not heavy stuff either. I think the paper weigh is nice and has worked perfectly for what I use it for. The sheets are single sided and if I am not mistaken, all designs are portrait oriented.

I also bought several. I think it's a nice weight paper. Couldn't pass up the deal even though I don't need more paper!

That does sound really nice for cards. I will definitely be going after work. Hope there is plenty.

I bought it, it is a really nice weight, heavier then the paper pads. I use it for layering, and fussy cutting for embellishments. I bought 3 different packages. I thought it was a really good buy.

It is one-sided but really nice weight paper! Not thin at all.

dang! I shouldn't have opened this thread. But thinking something like that would be good for my typewriter and Silhouette Portrait. Thanks! (i think?!)

I have mixed it with paper from the collections. You really can't tell the difference in the weights. It spans collections and grabs some of the newest designs in there. It helps to know that I have only spent $5 and have 3 sheets of the same paper in one package. Makes it much easier to cut it apart and use up some of my fave designs.

These 8.5x11 "Best Of" slabs from American Craft brands (e.g. Crate Paper, Amy Tangerine, Maggie Holmes, Dear Lizzy) have been featured as the "Hot Buy" at our local Michael's for months. Although I've not purchased, a friend who scraps traditional 8.5x11 layouts bought several & prefers the one-sided medium-weight patterned papers (to the usual double-sided, cardstock-weight 12x12 sheets she had to cut down)! HTH

I saw that yesterday but swear it was marked $19.99, which I was not paying.
I got P.O.ed in Michael's yesterday. The stuff that is marked on sale rings up at the regular price, and the stuff that is not marked on sale that I am planning on using a coupon on rings up on sale.
I got into it with the cashier when she tried to tell me Cricut manufacturers Silhouette merchandise. I thought both manufacturers would be amused to learn that information!

I just went and got all three! Yay!!!! I'm going to split them into three packs with one sheet each and my two friends are taking one. I just don't need three of each design but I will enjoy having one. Here they are if someone wants to see them...

It is 5.oo right now, but last week it was 14.99 a pkg. I went to buy some and changed my mind....cause I didn't want to pay 14.99 a pkg. Decided this week I have more than enough paper. It is pretty though and would be great for cards.

I like these for card making as I can use them for the base of the card since they are one sided papers. Double sided are great and all but require extra work to use as the background/base for cards. Some very nice designs in these packs though...

Oh, another thing they are good for is for making envelopes. I have the WRMK envelope maker. An A2 card can be made and then I use the board to make a matching envelope. IIRC, the size of paper for that envie is 8.5 X 8.5. So, I end up cutting on 2.5 inches and don't really think of it as waste considering what I paid for it.

Thanks for posting about this! I stopped by today and got a pack of the Dear Lizzy. I am surprised by how heavy the paper is. I'm using it to make an 8x8 album. A little bit of trimming but much cheaper than some of the regular 8x8 pads. Love the card and envelope idea!

adorable paper and a great price, but I don't think I can justify buying more right now. Maybe if I split it with a friend. I definitely don't need 3 of each sheet!
