I scrap in pocket pages, although I don't do PL. I put embellishments everywhere. On photos, on journaling cards, and yes, outside the pockets as well.  |

Well duh! It never dawned on me to put anything on the outside of the pocket! I put "flatter" embellishments on the cards or photos inside the pocket, and since I mix traditional pages with PL, I save the bulky items for those pages.
But now I'm gonna have to think about this a little more . . . .  |

I don't do PL, but add some PL style LO's to my regular albums. I have seen lots of embellies both inside and out of the pockets. I would do what ever works for you. For me I would try it on the inside first, to see how it looked. If it feels too bulky for the pocket, then on the outside it would go. Or like Tracie's example, on the outside so it can go across two pockets. And it was not a stupid question at all, look at all the great responses and others who had the same question. A win for all  |

I put them inside too except for a few banners and things that are bigger than the actual pocket. In that case I just stick them on the outside of the pocket, and so far so good. |

I am with the others- everything except flair inside the pockets. Seeing some of your examples has made me want to branch out and do a little more outside the pocket!

I wanted to add, that in the beginning, I was a little worried about the embellishments on the outside of the pages due to having a 4 year old who loves to look at the albums, but they are holding strong. I haven't had any issues at all.

I haven't had any issues at all. That's good to know because I'm making an album for my niece and I was worried she might pick at things if they were on the outside of the pockets! |
