So, my BFF has decided to drink the Kool-Aid and start this Advocare 24 day challenge. Suddenly, she is so convinced that she has lost "real weight", no water weight, that she is selling the stuff.
Now, I am completely ANTI-MLM companies...but I am TOTALLY into losing some dang weight! Does anyone know anything about this product and how it works? Personal experience?
TIA.

I've done the 24 day challenge twice. My friend sells it and gives it to me at her cost so I haven't (and won't) pay full price for it! But both times I lost weight. About 11 pounds and 9 pounds. But most of it comes down to eating right while on the challenge. So I think more of the weight loss is from diet not from their products. It helps me to have motivation and that is actually paying for the challenge so I stay on plan an don't cheat at all. If I didn't have money wrapped up in it then I know it wouldn't be as motivated. Sweets are my nemesis!
Also, I do love their Spark and have one every morning! We eat pretty clean but I make allowances for Spark. My baby is a horrible sleeper and I haven't got much sleep the past 18 mo and I'm not sure I could be a functioning person if I didn't have one in the morning before work.

I work in a restaurant and one of the managers sells this stuff. I can't speak from personal experience, but the servers love Spark. She bought some and made drinks on a Friday night for anyone that wanted to try it. The the servers are now buying it by the bucket loads. It must work pretty well.

I have some friends that push it hard on Facebook - so I blocked them. So tired of hearing about it. If it helps you get on a healthy eating plan - go for it. You could do the same without it though.
They really love the Spark - but be aware that it is a lot of caffeine. They push it as HEALTHY HEALTHY HEALTHY and it gives you so much energy!! "Don't drink the energy drinks like Red Bull, drink Spark" --- well it has more caffeine than Red Bull or Monster.
I need my morning caffeine! I have 2 cups of Starbucks (Keurig) every morning - but I don't think AdvoCare really lets people know how much caffeine is in their drinks.

I follow this group on Facebook. There's enough on there to convince me to NEVER put that stuff in my body. The cleansing stuff - - why pay to take something your body does naturally? Eat the right foods, drink plenty of water and exercise. Then add in the MLM stuff and how you can alienate friends fast. They don't just want you to use their products. They want you to sell their products. It's put a strain on a few of my friendships. I just have to do my best to blow past those posts. Here's the link: Advo-Truth

I tried that spark stuff twice. Holy mother of god it made me so jittery. I felt like I wanted to jump out of my own skin. Not to mention it made my heart race so fast. Never again will I touch the stuff :-(
