Oooh, I'd forgotten how much I LOVED using the different letter stamps and paint until recently!!! I always take them when I volunteer at the kids' shelter, and they also love using them!! Recently, I was about to attend a baby shower and wanted to personalize the cute elephant box and make a name sign for the baby.....too much fun! This also started me wanting to scrapbook again, and the other night I had a blast creating 6 pages for my furbaby girl's album.....SO fun after not scrapbooking in quite a while....!! (I regularly make CARDS---which is fun for getting the creative juices flowing---but haven't actually made scrapbook pages in a while--until now!)

I loved this look so much as well. I have not used my foam stamps forever but I still have them all.

I kept my foam stamps too. I only used them once or twice with actual paint, but have used them several times now with ink. I just could never get the right amount of paint on them, whereas ink is easier to control.

You know, this is such a timely post. Thank you. I have a massive pile of Goodwill stuff, including my foam stamps, in the living room, waiting for the snow to leave so we can dig out our truck. I just removed them because of your project. They are messy so I tend not to bother, but I just love that look!

Great projects!!!
I use foam stamps with fabric paint on t-shirts.
I use letter stamps and images, too.
They still sell them in the painting section at the craft store : )

I still have two bankers boxes full in my closet. I haven't used them in years but can't bring myself to get rid of them.

Yup, I just found mine after years of being packed in moving boxes. Some of my sets had never even been taken out of the box! The sad thing was I had to throw out all of my cute little bottles of Making Memories paints because they were all dried up and separated. Made me sad because I'm sure a lot of those were never used either. What a waste.

I think I still have one set of alphabet stamps.
How great that you are inspired again! The letters look so cute.

Funny because I just packed up most of mine to sell! I kept one alpha set and the rest are going. I even have the complete set that Lisa B. Was selling on some show that had a huge amount of stamps in...I wanted it so bad that I found it years later on eBay. Haven't really used them all that much for the effort!

This is 'timely' for me as well. I was just unpacking my scrapping supplies the other day and found 1 set of foam letter stamps. I think they came from one of Lisa Bearesons (sp?) "kits" that she used to sell on QVC. Remember those?
I was actually considering trying to sell them in a garage sale and if they didn't sell, just Goodwill them.
I finally decided to stick them in my "Rubber Stamping" drawer. They were still new and in the original packaging. I put them in there thinking " what in the world am I ever going to use those for?" Now I'm excited to try them out on a few projects. (I mainly make cards and tags.)
Thanks for sharing!

Oh cool !!! I'm glad my post made some of you wanna PLAY with the stamps again! I've been wanting to buy more, now that my addiction has been renewed! Wish I'd gone to Micheal's and Hobby Lobby before all this snow fell...!!!

This is funny! I was just going through some of my older scrapbooks and have a few where I have done this for titles. When I saw them I thought "why the heck don't I do that anymore?!" I think I will be pulling them out again in the not too distant future.

I was JUST looking at mine the other day and debating on whether I wanted to keep them or not. I decided that I really used to love using them and now that I've seen what you did, it makes me really want to again!

I have some foam stamps in a box to get rid of as well. I don't see myself using them as I don't stamp, but I can see that they will make someone else happy! They were always way too messy for me.
I remember taking a class at CKC with Lisa B and we used those stamps and paint. She had like 3 sponges for the entire class and nothing to wipe them off with. It was such a mess I really could never get into it after that.
