Honestly I find the whole concept of the show irritating. We teach kids/society not to bully but yet we have whole shows like this that are just for judging something as inane as clothing choices. It's hypocritical tbh.

A couple days ago, she tweeted that the whole issue made her unsure if she wanted to stay on the show. But who knows exactly what it was about it that made her want out - that Giuliana wouldn't listen to her about not doing that "joke" (supposedly it was shot three times and Kelly objected to it repeatedly), or if she just didn't like the vibe of the show without Joan and this created an opportune moment to leave.

So, she leaves over THIS and not the myriad other offensive and cruel things that have been said on that show and have been said by her?

It's hypocritical tbh. I refuse to watch it for this very reason. Perhaps Kelly is starting to see it for what it really is. Someone, a celebrity, said that it was offensive because Giuliana isn't a comic but I would have thought her comment to be offensive even if Joan Rivers had said it. Bullying is bullying.

I think the show just isn't working without Joan.
I think Kelly had been looking for a way to exit for awhile and this was the way to get the most publicity for leaving. It's good for her career.
I don't believe for one minute she's leaving bc she's truly that offended by G's comment.

I don't understand this type of show - knocking down others and being rude and dis-respectful. I don't watch this show or many reality tv shows, because they really aren't real. They are mostly scripted.

I think it definitely has to do with the drama and I believe her mom addressed it one day on The Talk I just caught the tail end of it.
I don't really know if her "career" will improve because of this lets face it she doesn't have a ton of talent.
I think the comment wasn't racial in its intent but regardless they do seem to make a lot of offensive comments on that show and when Joan was on she made tons and tons of comments that were more off color then the ones GR made.
I think what bugs me about the whole thing is that GR was made the scape goat when really it was KG who initially made the weed comment and also the show is taped and the producers should have just cut the comment out. Also I have watched some of the talk shows like The Talk, The View etc and some of those women who while coming to that actresses defense made just as nasty remarks about GR so how are they any better then she is.
She apologized and the person she offended accepted her apology move on and for those that enjoy that show I am sure they will bash and berate a new fashion faux pas and this one will be forgotten.

Good gravy. It's like the whole theory of everyone in a sport should win 1st place. I ageee, some of the stuff said on FP has been bad. But what has been said this season is NOTHING. NOTHING compared to what was said in the past, and by Kelly. I don't get where Kelly see's other opportunities? like what? FP was the best thing that ever happened to her. I think the best thing FP could do is to bring on someone more ethnic. ie Cojo that used to do the FP on E,

I heard on the radio that she's been battling with the producers for a while. This was her excuse to leave. I suspect she elevated her actual response to the Giuliana thing for her own purposes.

Since this show is on the "Entertainment" channel, that's what I thought of it as, entertainment, like Comedy Central. I expected raunchy, tasteless jokes from Joan, that's what she's known for. The Joan Rangers played and laughed along with the skit. I viewed it as tasteless comedy, nothing taken seriously. Without Joan, there's a different feel. I can't stand Kathy G., never could, especially when she appeared on the Seinfeld episode. It's not the same.

Honestly I find the whole concept of the show irritating. We teach kids/society not to bully but yet we have whole shows like this that are just for judging something as inane as clothing choices. It's hypocritical tbh. I used to feel pretty bad for Kelly Osbourne when she would talk in interviews about how being made fun of for being overweight led to depression and drug abuse. For her to sober up and get to a place where she's happy with her body, only to turn around and make terrible comments about other people being fat or a "butter face" (that was aimed at Lady Gaga) on a show that exists to make fun of the way people look and dress, is horrible. It sounds like the Fashion Police producers were getting tired of dealing with her complaints about the show since Joan died. It's hard to imagine that the comment made about Zendaya truly pushed her to leave when she's made so many despicable comments herself. She's even come under fire in the past for saying things that were racially insensitive and I don't recall her defending those remarks by claiming she doesn't condone racism. Now we have her father threatening bodily harm against another TV personality who dared to question Kelly's narrative about what happened on the show when the comment about Zendaya was made. I'm so over the Osbourne family.

FP was Joan's show. She was The Queen of Mean, and she owned it. She was blunt, naughty, funny, and just Joan. No one else could get away with it, and GR didn't even try. I don't think this "scandal" tanked the show. Joan's passing did. Good bye, and good luck to Kelly. I can't imagine she is leaving with out a new project signed and sealed. Zendaya has already removed her costume dreads...Next!... and that Next will not include another season of Fashion Police.

I honestly can't stand her so to me anyway good riddance. I don't like her at all. I liked Joan Rivers but the rest of them are done. Kelly Osborn makes me want to cut out my eyeballs with a dull, rusted knife. I really don't like her at all!

I heard on the radio yesterday that Guiliana didn't even come up with that joke, that there are actually WRITERS for FP and they had rehearsed the entire piece. So if that's true, it went through a lot of people and nobody had an issue with it until Zendaya did. The whole thing is ridiculous, and I can guarantee this is not the sole reason Kelly is leaving. I thinks she's wanted out for a long time, especially after Joan died.

Who cares? I never figured out why people thought she was qualified to do the show anyway.
I agree with the others that the show is irritating. I like fashion and I like to look at fashion. I don't need a bunch of twits telling me what they like or don't like.

It's hypocritical tbh. I so very much agree with you!! I hate it for that very reason! I refuse to have a "mean girl" in my house. My girls aren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but being a "mean girl" isn't something I tolerate. I won't even allow them to watch those silly shows on Nick or Disney channel where they all tease each other relentlessly as if that's how you have a friendship with someone-- tease them nonstop. Blech.

I think she is just exhausted and maybe still grieving the loss of Joan Rivers. I think the comment may have just sent her over the edge but I don't think the comment was the worse thing I have heard on that show. I watched it a few times with Kathy Griffin and she is just over the top with her comments - just too much. I guess Joan was too but she was a different person than Kathy. I found watching regular episodes that Guiliana was offended or embarrassed, by her facial expressions, by Kathy's conversations or comments and was surprised to see that Guiliana jumped on that bandwagon.

It was just a matter of time before one of them bailed.
The whole thing is pretty funny, actually. Like others have said, now she's insulted? After years of people being bashed, this is what's she's getting all in a twist about. Come on.
And where is she going? What career? Give me a break.
As for the show, I think Kathy is doing a great job considering who's shoes she's trying to fill. I don't see the show hanging on much longer because it can never be what it was. Joan was the show.
As far as it being bullying, oh come on. It is nowhere near bullying. No one is being singled out and repeatedly picked on. They had Zendaya on last year and were sweet as pie to her. The entire premise of the show is to talk about how celebrities are dressed & wearing their hair, makeup, etc. That's it. Being scrutinized for your appearance is part of being famous. And on FP, one week they're bashing you and the next they think you're fabulous. It's the nature of the show. Not bullying at all. Don't like it? Don't watch.

Do you think Joan got away with it because she was like your crazy grandmother that just said whatever was on her mind and got away with it because of her age? I do think Kathy's brash personality style is very similar, however she's not a fashion expert.
