I only realized it after seeing the huge sale header with the note about closing the store and then looking on the forums wondering why no one said anything about it on the NSBR or Scrapping side. I think I looked a couple times in about a 2 hour span before I realized the times were from about 4 hours previous...lol

I've only been using the app for the last 3 or 4 days and I just thought it was *super* slow today. I didn't bother to go on the site until I saw a post on facebook from someone who is a member of another scrappy board. Felt pretty dumb.

It took me more than 24 hours to realize something was up. I mean how many times do you have to check in and think to yourself - hmmm, the first page LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME before you start looking when the first thread was last updated and then realize something is up and then it takes you another 10 minutes to figure out that 2 p's is closing. Then I ran around devastated, cause even though no one knows me, and I'm not friends with anyone else here IRL or on FB, I JUST KNEW that something else would be set up but had no idea how to find it. Mad googling skills and a comment on a blogpost led to the NSBR Refugees facebook page and then here. So... Hi everyone. Nice to be back with you all  Don't feel bad. I saw the announcement on Facebook from Cathy Zielske and when I went to the site to check, I noticed that NO ONE had posted about it and got very confused. It took me going back to the Facebook post to figure out the message boards were shut down. |

I've been out of town so I hadn't been on the boards for over a week. Then the day I finally hop back on to check is the day everything closes down. I was so depressed- first Archiver's closes down, now 2peas. Where would I go to ask my random questions? Tonight I finally had time to google, and I'm ashamed to say that the first place I thought to look for more information was the smack blog. I don't know any peas on FB or IRL!

I saw the announcement, but I just skimmed it. I was so confused as to why there was no outcry on the message board. I kept checking to see if anyone had posted about the closing of Two Peas, it took me several hours to realize that no one was posting so I went and read the announcement in its entirety. Of course, I panicked. Where had everyone gone. I Googled, and headed over to the Dis-boards and I was directed over here. I feel like I am home. |

I thought the site was down on Wednesday (lunchtime lurking) and didn't realize til today that it really was down. I remembered there was a 2peas group on FB but heck if I could remember the name so did a search and found the Refugees page.
I looked at the other links but don't like Reddits setup and didn't want to clutter my timeline on FB. This is great, since I belong to another group on the proboards.

I didn't find out until I checked my Instagram, a post from melblackburn. Immediately went to the two peas app, saw no one had posted a thread - I thought I read wrong! Didn't realize the threads were closed.

I was thinking for about a say how slow it was and what was so damn interesting about food saver bags! It didn't occur to me until I noticed the stickies were gone and I read the top banner...duh. Glad to have found you all! So funny! |
