I didn't really participate in the threads save for one time but I did read it when the weekly thread was posted.
I was recently asked to knit up a couple samples from a local alpaca farm. The yarn is awesome! The owner crochets some and says she can't do gloves or socks very well so she asked me to knit up a pair of gloves and matching hat out of her yarn along with a hat from another skein. I'm working on the single hat now and will continue while camping. I'm loving how smooth it is. Seriously, it feels like there's lotion in it or something.
What's on your needle(s)?

Ohh! I'm here. And it will be much easier for me to update with photos with the direct upload.
I have 2 blanket wips that seem to get less attention in the summer. I have a cool market bag that I mixed designs with to create what I wanted. I'll photo that tonight. I've been doing a lot of washcloths/dishcloths and trivits.
And I need to start a blanket for my cousin's baby due in September.

Hi, crocheter here (or I am when I can find my mojo!!) I've had a shawl on the go for a while now but it's not really going anywhere. I have some lovely Alpaca that I'm saving, it's so nice I can't bring myself to use it unless it's for the 'perfect' project

I seem to be unable to do one project at the time, but I just finished to summerdresses for DD. When my arm gets better, I'm going to finish a sweater for me (and then a dress or two for me, and a jacket for me and one for DD, unless I get distracted by a new project). So much yarn, so little time.

I do loom knitting for a charity, but I also knit with needles. I have taken a two week break to do other crafts but thinking i need to get more hats and balls done in the coming weeks. I need to do some adult male hats! I have so many "girly" yarns though, lol!

I didn't follow the threads before, but I just joined Ravelry recently and am crocheting my first hat currently! I had to rip out the whole thing and start over when I realized I'd been doing one of the stitches wrong, but it's a pretty quick project, so it wasn't too traumatic

I'm currently working on a scarf (shop sample) in some of my hand dyed yarn and I'm getting together with my group tonight to start working on pattern writing. Yikes! I didn't post a lot about my Etsy shop on Two Peas to avoid TOU issues but I do have an Etsy shop for my handyed yarns and fibers. I also sell project bags and handspun yarns. You can see it here www.lonestararts.etsy.com

Do any peas want to set up classes for those who can't knit or crochet? I would love to learn. I have the time. I just need someone to talk down to me...like I am a 4 year old learning to do it. Watching Youtube videos is hard as I can't follow. That would be great!

New to knitting. But, I can already tell I'm going to enjoy it. Thus, the new name.
There was a project at the knitting shop that I am dying to do. But, I think it's crochet. The yarn was positively gorgeous and felt so good.
All I could think while there was 'Dang! This is going to get expensive.' I so want to buy up some of the pretty yarns for future projects.
Off topic: Thought I might ask you guys...Did I take someone else's pea name? If I did, please let me know. It wasn't my intention. But, with so many peas, it's hard to keep up with names. Plus, I was more attuned to the avatars than names. Thanks!

I'm learning how to crochet using the youtube tutorials from thecrochetcrowd.com Mikey breaks it down in a way that I can pause while I"m stitching and then just play when I've caught up to him. I finished a Corner to Corner afghan, started another, and am trying to master the double trebles for the market bag.

I'm willing to help teach, not sure how it will work over the board but I'm around for questions, pattern help, whatever.

I do neither but a friend of mine has alpaca and after the first one was fleeced (shorn or whatever you call it) I know she sent it off to be cleaned, spun and knit into a teddy bear for her daughter. So cute.

I'm learning to crochet. I made a scarf for my son and am working on a granny square blanket for my daughter with all sorts of fun colours! We have 4 alpacas and I thought I'd better learn to do something with all that lovely yarn I will be getting!

Knitter here! Currently working on the six or seventh "Rainbow Marley" baby hat that I seem addicted to making. They are good mindless knits for tackling while watching the World Cup matches.
I followed the posts on the previous board, but never posted any pictures as it was always such a PITA to post pictures there. Anyone know if it will be easier to post pictures on this board?

The blankets are amazing!
I started knitting last month. So far I've made a triangle scarf/shawl, a 2nd one for the cancer center at the hospital, and a simple cowl. I spend more time ripping out mistakes and looking for easy scarf patterns on Ravelry than knitting.

Hi! I'm here. I do both. I'm currently working on a crochet afghan for our king sized bed - Trip Around the World. I'm 1/3 of the way through.

I'm a knitter also! I just finished a scarf for myself and need to make a matching slouchy hat. I'm a self taught knitter but I really feel like I need to take some lessons at a LYS because I don't know how to gauge or read a pattern very well:)

I knit and crochet. My name is Tracyarts on Ravelry too, and I joined the 2Peas group there a while back. I tend to stick to simple projects and use mostly craft store yarn. Nothing too special or fancy. I'm still learning, probably an advanced beginner or maybe on the verge of graduating to intermediate level.

This is my market bag. It's got a bit of a round base to it so that I can set it down on a flat surface. The rest is Solomon's knots. I'm working on adding some long handles now.
