I am a new crochter but I have finished a small blanket for my Grand Niece and a huge granny stripe blanket for my son. He loves that I made it long enough for him to stretch out and not have his feet exposed. It was my first attempt and I am not happy with some of the earlier bits but he is delighted!
I just bought loads of new yarn to make my daughters blankie, it is the different colours through the yarn so I wont have to change colours. I will do the same stiches as the granny stripe, unless you have a better idea?

I very rarely posted on Two Peas, but I was a 14-year member there. I'm mainly a crocheter, although I knit socks and fingerless mitts. Some may know me as the co-owner of Crochetville blog, message board, and thriving, active Facebook page) and past president of the Crochet Guild of America.

I didn't post on the threads much but I started crocheting because of the threads. I loved the ripple stripe blanket linked to from attic 24 so I got some yarn and that was my first project (other than attempting to crochet a scarf a few years ago). I have since done a granny stripe blanket (my profile pic) and I'm working on another ripple stripe one. It's kind of become an addiction now and I'm very thankful for these threads to inspire me to start a new hobby!!

My Grandmother taught how to knit in the European style many years ago. I re-taught myself recently using YouTube and I've knit 10 dish cloths I plan to make more but haven't gotten back to it for a couple weeks.

Hi knitting & crocheting peas! I'm a crocheter myself, but no projects for me lately (I've been in a bit of a slump) but I just had to tell you that your projects look amazing! Definitely sparking some inspiration!

I need to explore crochetville! I am a new crocheter, started 6 months ago. Between here and ravelry, I haven't taken the time to explore a new crochet community. Your wrap in your avatar is gorgeous!

This is my market bag. It's got a bit of a round base to it so that I can set it down on a flat surface. The rest is Solomon's knots. I'm working on adding some long handles now. I've seen those, and I. must. make. one.

I am here! My name is a little different--I was Just T at two peas, but it said that name wasn't available the other night when I registered here.
I have been busily crocheting. I will have to figure out how to post pics here--I just was feeling good about doing it at 2 peas, and now I have to start all over.

That's exactly the kind of stitch I was looking for. I need something that will make a very warm blanket. I added the pattern to my Ravelry library and am off to browse videos on Youtube. Thanks!
