Yes yes yes! Between my dad dying and dh health I was so tired I could barely function. My thoughts weren't racing or anything. I was just exhausted. I would get a full nights sleep and wake up tired. I have restless leg syndrome occasionally but it kicked into high gear. All of my would start twitching and it was happening earlier and earlier.
Finally I went to the doctor. I said if there is such a thing as stress fatigue, I have it. The doctor agreed it was temporary and situational. He said I wasn't getting a full sleep because of everything on the back burner in my mind. He prescribed a low dose of Xanax. It did help me relax enough to get appropriate rest.
I'm so sorry for everything going on in your family and having it all at once.

Please don't be so hard on yourself. I am sure you are a strong person, but every person -- EVERY person -- has their limit.
When your body is telling you that capacity is being reached, that is the canary in the mines telling you to slow down and regroup.

Yes. Anytime my dad and I get into an argument or conflict, my stomach gives me fits. For days.

i just saw your question about accupuncture, so I'll tell u how great my experience was! Mine was from an excellent chiropractor ....I had severe back pain where I could barely walk or sit ....after adjustments, they placed muscle stim. Pads and heat on my back for 15 minutes or so (which was wonderful!), then the doc placed the accu. needles in various areas....it doesn't hurt---I promise! it really helped me, and I was surprised (and THRILLED!) that our insurance covered all of it., including my own elec. stim machine for home use! They also told me my insurance would cover one deep tissue massage per week----I hope your DH gets some relief!!!! and again, sorry for all you're dealing with!!! I know it'd be so hard not to be able to see my Dad, too!!! ((( hugs )))) That's really risky because the chiropractor is doing this as a side business and I personally know one girl whose lung was punctured by a needle. I asked my acupuncturist about this and she said her practice is completely different from how chiropractors to do it. This morning on the Today show they were talking about dentists who now give botox because they took a class on the weekend. They talked with dermatologists who explained that they had years of learning in school and lots of experience before you ever became their patient and it's just too risky to go to a dentist who is adding on a side business to increase his profit.
