I know that's why I'm so irritated, but it's not making the person sitting next to me any less irritating.

You will want to ignore the tv...I keep seeing the "narwhals, narwhals, swimming in the ocean, causing a commotion, 'cause they are so awesome, narwhals, narwhals..." commercial.
OMG. I want to rip my ears off.

On those days, the dog and I go for long, isolated walks. But he usually irritates me too before it's over. I got nothing.
Good luck!

I am MMS (mid menstrual syndrome) and I have a splitting headache. I want to bite something or someone (and I am the only one here) and I have to go out tonight. Once I get some tylenol into me I should be ok.
My face is a mess. Spider bit me, it is getting worse. Have to go back to the doctor tomorrow and get her to evaluate again.

Oh girl, you are singing my song. I sent my dh an instant message last night because his mother is driving me INSANE. She talks CONSTANTLY...she was typing out a facebook message to someone who was checking on her and she was saying EVERY word as she typed it. OMG, she cannot handle silence and I can't handle the nonsense chatter. I told dh that the PMS wasn't helping my patience. He told me I was a saint and he owed me. LOL I told him he didn't owe me but I was feeling kind of like a saint. LOL

I should say I have AMS - all menstrual syndrome - I'm always irritable!
Brandy, I read one of your earlier posts about MIL staying with you and I can feel your pain, my MIL has stayed with us for a few days here and there through all the snow storms and she's the same way. She obsesses over watching special news coverage and talks back to the tv, and then repeats, repeats herself. I personally think she has dementia but DH and his sister (that we talk to) just think she's bored and making conversation. She does the same thing if you talk to her on the phone. Hope all goes smoothly tomorrow.

Ugh girls all my sympathy coming your way. I just want to strangle someone today. PMS and a rough day at work, plus a 7 year old that finds a way to irritate over every little thing and a husband that's just as bad today. I tried to go in my room and both of them have knocked on the door (dd) or walked in to get whatever the hell they needed to get at that very second. Leave me the hell alone people!!! Gaah!!!!
And yeah, constant chatter drives me batshit crazy on a normal day.

We expected the girls to have some questions but it was ds that had a couple...and one was a doozy. He asked if we were going to have a chance to say goodbye. Boy that sent me and dh into instant tears...because he's on the autism spectrum, he isn't always as emotionally affected as the girls are. But this is the second time in the last week that he's expressed himself and his emotions perfectly...he's sad and misses Grandpa. I have a feeling that tomorrow, my dh's undoing will be partially caused by ds's emotional upheaval.

Awwww....your son sounds so sweet. It's a tough age for them, they will sort of understand but it's hard. And seeing their dad and grandma so upset will be troubling, too. Hugs! I'll be thinking of you all. Just keep the communication open in the days and weeks ahead and don't be surprised if it pops up on them at strange times.

I'll be thinking of you all. Just keep the communication open in the days and weeks ahead and don't be surprised if it pops up on them at strange times. Thank you. You're so kind. We did tell them that there will probably be a lot of people crying and it's ok if they cry, it's ok if they don't. This is the first time that my dh or my kids have ever lost someone as close as this. My dh lost his grandfather when he was a young teen but other than that, the losses he's had have been on the periphery...family members/friends he's known but weren't super close to. He said to me last week that he thought he did a good job of understanding how I felt when I lost my dad...but he now realizes, he had NO idea the pain associated with losing a parent. Thank you again for all the good thoughts.

I am liking the new terms here! I think I have MMS. I am about ready to throw my hands up in the air regarding my son , his ACT tutor ,and lax tryouts. I had to leave yhe house for awhile to cool down. I also ended up scaring the dogs. They don't like yelling.
