We had some freezing rain late yesterday, it's going to be in the high 50s today and getting up to 8" or more of snow tomorrow. We almost made it through winter with next to nothing, guess she felt she owed us something so we didn't get cocky around here.
15 days until spring, 15 days until spring, 15 days until spring................

Same forecast here in Northern Virginia. Kids haven't had a full week of school in ages. ugh eta: Cherry blossom predictions (Washington DC) are already in the newspaper. So we're sitting here imagining walking around the Tidal Basin in our tee-shirts, breezes blowing.... ah....

We're in northern Virginia, too. It's 38 this morning and it's wonderful. But we are supposed to get 3-6 inches of snow tomorrow. I'm so over all of this and we only have 4 snow days left, in spite of the school board adding in more time on the calendar. I'm really hoping this will be the end of all the winter weather!

It's so frustrating, isn't it? I'm in Maryland so will also be experiencing the nicer temps today (too bad it's supposed to rain all day) and will face the snow tonight/tomorrow. On the other hand, it's encouraging that the temps are easing upwards in the next week - that's something to look forward to!

Northern Maryland here. This was supposed to be my first week of training with my horses for the show season starting in May. Obviously we're going to be a week behind schedule with this weather.
So ready for this to be over!

Yep. We were in the mid-upper 60's yesterday and are expecting freezing rain/sleet and snow over night. If it's anything like last week, it will NOT be good. UGH
Y'all stay safe and warm!

They are predicting 8 to 12 inches of snow today/tonight in central Kentucky. Supposedly Jim Cantore is on his way to Lexington or is already here. That cannot be a good sign.

It was 63 degrees when I got up this morning and is supposed to drop to 23 tonight with about 70% chance of freezing rain, sleet and snow. 3-7 inches accumulation expected.

It's 81 degrees at my house today. There's always one in every bunch. In July when it's 102 degrees here with 100% humidity and I'm complaining about being hot you can rub it in my face lol. Last week it was 30 degrees here. Week before that it was 20... Our weather is all over the damn place.

Don't worry, I'm not likely to do that (rub it in your face) -- because *here* in July is also likely to be 102 degrees with 100% humidity. ugh. But, I would so much rather have heat than cold. I know, winter people think I'm crazy. Even fall/spring people think I'm crazy. But I really really hate winter, and love the hot weather.

I love summer...beaches...flip flops...watermelon. I'm ready to go out on the boat. I hate being cold. I'm always cold and winter is miserable!

We homeschool, so though it's been a winter of school cancellations mine always have school. It's already called off for tomorrow and I am planning to surprise my girls with a real snow day- we are going to the Korean spa. We need a break from the winter!
