I was watching a movie yesterday on Netflix (Safe Haven) and didn't get to finish. I just went on Netflix to finish watching and the movie has disappeared from their listings. Does this happen often? I didn't realize that they removed movies after they were offered to view.

They drop and add movies/shows each month. It has to do with licensing. You must have just got the unlucky on the timing.

Thanks for the website. As usual I had crappy timing watching that movie!

We started a series (can't remember what) that ended up being removed a day or two later. Total bummer! I can't imagine being part way through a movie though!

Netflix removed a season of a show we were watching. The one month I didn't check the listings go figure! I always try to read through the list to know if there is anything that I want to watch that might not be there soon. In some instances they say they are removing them but the license is renewed for another round.

I don't know why I thought, once its on Netflix, it's always on Netflix. Should have known better. It would be nice if they had a little warning that whatever you watching is about to expire. I didn't know about that website to check until today.
